The explainer names MAC Frost lipstick, including Angel and Fabby as examples, but their current availability and formulations have not been confirmed. Check the retailer’s live listing before treating either shade as an option.
How to apply frosted lipstick without emphasizing dry patches
- Moisturize first. Apply lip balm and allow it to settle. Reflective finishes can make dry areas more noticeable.
- Gently smooth if needed. Use a gentle lip exfoliator rather than scrubbing irritated or cracked lips; exfoliation is optional, not a requirement.
- Apply a thin layer. Build coverage gradually instead of starting with a heavy coat.
- Keep the liner subtle. A liner close to your lipstick shade can define the edge without competing with the reflective finish.
Is frosted lipstick still in style?
Harper’s Bazaar Australia’s December 28, 2022 archive result discussed frosted lips as a look for 2023. That is evidence of the trend’s period framing, not a reliable indicator of what is fashionable in 2026. Wear it if you enjoy the finish; there is no need to treat a past trend forecast as a current style rule.
