The October 1 paid release said AlphaPepe had raised more than $2.86 million and had more than 12,200 holders before a first public exchange listing. These are promotional figures repeated in that release, not independently audited totals. The release described ALPE as pre-listing; it does not verify a later listing or completed trading debut.

An earlier AlphaPepe release published through GlobeNewswire on July 9, 2026, claimed partnerships with Azbit, BiFinance and Biconomy, while saying no final public launch date had been announced. Those issuer-side statements do not establish that ALPE was listed or traded on those venues. A claimed partnership, planned listing or presale holder count is not proof of an active market.
What would verify a public debut?
To establish that trading began, look for an official listing page on the exchange, a live trading pair and the token’s contract address, together with a dated announcement from the venue itself. The cited releases do not provide that confirmation, so ALPE’s current trading status remains unresolved.

These are different kinds of evidence as well as different stages of asset maturity: one is a reported bank forecast for a widely traded asset, while the other is promotional information about a presale token whose debut is not verified by the cited coverage. Comparing their potential upside numerically would require a verified common-date starting price, comparable time horizon and supported assumptions; those are not established here.

What does an ETH investment vehicle actually expose you to?
Buying an investment vehicle that holds Ether is not identical to holding ETH directly. SEC-filed annual reports for the 2025 reporting period describe an Ether trust whose objective is to provide shareholders exposure to Ether’s value, less expenses and liabilities, using a passive strategy rather than attempting to time purchases and sales. The iShares Ethereum Trust ETF filing likewise explains that its shares are not a direct investment in Ether and discusses market, custody, platform-pricing and volatility risks.
