Short answer: Dollar Mills describes itself as a sweepstakes-style social casino, but its terms are the operator’s position—not a regulator’s ruling that the service is legal everywhere. The terms bar users in 13 named states and other places where participation is prohibited. A 2026 Casino.org review also reported concerns about operator transparency, registration details and visible player-safety information. Those observations justify caution, but they do not prove fraud or establish that safety controls do not exist.
Before registering, check the current terms for your location and read how prize redemptions, identity checks and dispute resolution work. This review reflects information available on October 8, 2026; terms and laws can change.
What kind of casino does Dollar Mills say it is?
Dollar Mills distinguishes between two virtual currencies. Its Terms of Service say Gold Coins are for standard games, have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed. Standard play awards more Gold Coins.
Sweep Coins are promotional, cannot be purchased directly, and are used in promotional games. The terms say only promotional play offers a chance to win prizes, and Sweep Coins must be played before redemption. The operator states: “The Website, Platform, and/or Games do not provide or facilitate any form of real money gambling.” That is Dollar Mills’s characterization of its service; it does not settle how a regulator or court would classify it.

Is Dollar Mills legal where you live?
There is no supported nationwide yes-or-no answer. The terms require users to represent that they do not live in an excluded territory. They list California, Illinois, Maryland, Tennessee, Connecticut, Michigan, New York, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Delaware and Kentucky, as well as any other area where participation is legally prohibited. Check the current terms before signing up: the lobby’s state list has reportedly included duplications, so the terms are the clearer reference, but neither list substitutes for current local law.
The legality of sweepstakes-style play depends on the jurisdiction and applicable law. A statement in a site’s terms that it does not facilitate real-money gambling is not a regulator’s approval or a binding decision on the service’s status in every state.

California-specific context
The California Gambling Control Commission says, “The Commission does not issue, nor has it ever issued, licenses to online casinos,” and says online gambling is illegal under California law. That is California-specific information, not a ruling on Dollar Mills in other states. Dollar Mills’s terms list California among the excluded states.
How do Sweep Coin prizes and redemptions work?
The terms describe a redemption rate of one Sweep Coin per one U.S. dollar for cryptocurrency redemption. The amount of cryptocurrency is based on its market price at the time of redemption. This is a contractual description, not independent evidence that requests are paid reliably or within a particular timeframe.

What safety and transparency concerns have been reported?
In a 2026 review, Casino.org reviewer Alexander Korsager reported that he could not locate Dollar Mills’s company name or address, noticed a mismatch between registration information described in the terms and the form he saw, and did not find player-safety resources in the areas he reviewed. These are the reviewer’s observations, not independently established facts about every version of the site. They support caution but do not prove fraud or that no safety controls exist.

The terms say registration requires a legal name, date of birth and permanent address, and reserve the right to request identity, source-of-wealth or source-of-funds verification. That requirement differs from what the reviewer said he saw on the form. The same review described a support channel that was easy to find and reported no technical glitches during the reviewer’s own use; those individual observations are not guarantees of response times or uptime.
A separate SweepsKings review, updated September 15, 2026, also said it could not identify the owner and listed no license. That is secondary reporting, not a regulator’s finding. No independently verified figures for Dollar Mills player outcomes, payout success, safety incidents or user counts are established here.

What should you check before creating an account?
Use these questions to assess the service based on information you can verify at the time you visit:
- Location: Do the current terms permit participation from your state or territory?
- Operator and oversight: Are the company’s identity and any claimed regulatory status clearly disclosed and independently verifiable?
- Account and safety information: Do the registration form, terms, identity-check requirements and available responsible-play resources give a consistent picture?
- Redemptions and disputes: What minimums, fees, processing limits and dispute procedures apply?
If you cannot verify a material detail, treat that uncertainty as a reason to pause rather than assuming the site is approved or that a prize will be paid on a particular schedule.
What does the arbitration clause mean?
The terms require individual arbitration for disputes and say the American Arbitration Association will administer it under specified rules. They also provide an option to opt out by contacting customer service within 30 days after accepting the terms. This is a contractual provision with potential consequences for how disputes are handled; read the current clause before acceptance.
