Yes, G2G may refund an order in limited circumstances—such as non-delivery or an item that does not match its description—but refunds are not automatic. G2G generally treats sales as final. Report an issue promptly through the order page, follow the response and escalation steps for that order, and check the item before confirming receipt: confirmation releases payment to the seller and may end your refund eligibility.
When might G2G refund an order?
G2G’s refund and cancellation policy identifies non-delivery and a product that does not match its description as grounds on which a buyer may qualify for a refund. Its GamerProtect guidance likewise describes protection for those situations. These are policy grounds, not a promise that every claim will be approved; the order’s status, category, evidence, and applicable deadlines matter.

G2G lists exclusions that include buyer’s remorse or dissatisfaction, mistaken purchases, failure to report or escalate within the stated time, a buyer’s device not meeting the product’s minimum requirements, completed or confirmed receipt, and transactions made outside the G2G marketplace. GamerProtect also excludes claims involving changes made by a game publisher after successful delivery and fraudulent claims.
What should you do to request a refund?
- Open the order on G2G. Use Cancel Order or Report, depending on the order’s status. Explain the issue and select a refund method if the form offers one.
- Act within the reporting window. G2G says buyers should report issues within 72 hours of delivery. Its policy and order-issue escalation guide also describe response and escalation windows, including 48-hour periods in parts of the process. The steps and timing vary by order status and type, so follow the deadlines shown in the applicable order flow.
- For a pending order, check whether the seller must respond. If the order is being prepared or delivered, seller approval may be needed. G2G’s order-tracking guidance describes response periods and cases where an order may be cancelled automatically if the seller does not respond in time.
- For a delivered order, report the problem rather than relying on cancellation. Allow the seller the response period specified for the process, then escalate within the stated deadline if the issue remains unresolved. Keep relevant evidence and communication on G2G.
- Inspect the item before confirming receipt. G2G says confirmation releases the seller’s payment. Its buyer-protection guidance excludes buyers who have already confirmed receipt, so do not confirm until you have checked that the delivery is correct.
How will an approved refund be paid, and how long can it take?
G2G says an approved refund may go to Store Credit or the original payment method, but available choices depend on region and payment method. Under the policy’s stated Singapore rules, Store Credit is not available as a refund option. Use the options shown for your order rather than assuming a particular destination is available.

G2G says Store Credit is issued immediately after approval. A refund to the original payment method may take banks up to 14 days to finalize; authorization holds can also affect when funds appear. That estimate concerns processing after approval, not the time G2G takes to decide a claim.

Gift cards, games, and software
G2G treats gift cards, video games, and software as intangible products. Its policy says they are not refundable or exchangeable once delivered to the buyer’s account, which it treats as downloaded. Check the listing and delivery details carefully before purchase.

Before checkout, verify the game, server, account name, and amount. G2G says it does not accept responsibility for mistakes buyers make in those details.
Game Coaching and GamePal
For these services, G2G’s policy uses session-attendance and seller-attendance thresholds to determine when a complaint may be made. The relevant rule depends on the service and what happened, so check the policy and order flow for the applicable conditions.

Some account purchases
G2G describes a 14-calendar-day insurance period after order confirmation for specified goods or services account types. This is a category-specific insurance rule, not a general 14-day refund window for all G2G purchases.
Completed orders
A G2G seller article published in September 2026 describes a seller-side option to initiate refunds on some completed orders when the seller has enough Seller Credit. It does not support Boosting, GamePal, or Coaching orders, and the refund destination depends on payment method and region. This feature is not a general buyer right to reverse a completed order.
