Is there evidence that Qovex’s stablecoin trading surged?
No verified trading-volume data establishes a Qovex-specific surge in 2025. A Coinprwire release dated October 4, 2025 attributed claims to Qovex about a multi-asset trading platform and stablecoin-supported IPO and IEO participation. It is a promotional release, not independent confirmation of the platform’s trading activity or global reach.
That distinction matters: a description of features does not establish how much customers traded, where they were located, or whether any reported volume was independently audited. The available evidence does not establish Qovex’s jurisdictions, compliance practices, or security arrangements either.
What do the broader stablecoin figures show?
Sector-wide figures indicate substantial growth, but they measure different things and cannot be attributed to Qovex.

- Market capitalization: The Federal Reserve reported aggregate stablecoin market capitalization of $317 billion as of April 6, 2026, more than 50% above its level in early 2025. The Board also noted that growth flattened in the fourth quarter of 2025 and first quarter of 2026, so the trend was not uninterrupted. See the Federal Reserve’s April 8, 2026 staff note.
- Transaction volume: TRM Labs reported more than $4 trillion in stablecoin transaction volume from January through July 2025, when stablecoins accounted for 30% of crypto transaction volume. Transaction volume is not the same as market capitalization. Nor does on-chain transaction volume necessarily represent payments between people or businesses: it can include trading bots, exchange treasury rebalancing, and repeated smart-contract operations. How to assess a claim about a trading platform
Before treating a headline figure as evidence of growth, identify what it measures and who produced it. For a platform-specific claim, look for dated data that is attributable to that platform and independently verifiable where possible.

- Metric: Is the figure exchange trading volume, on-chain transfers, adjusted payment volume, market capitalization, or user and address activity? These measures are not interchangeable.
- Period and geography: Check the start and end dates. “Global” might refer to platform availability, customer locations, or transactions; it does not establish all three.
- Attribution and verification: Determine whether the number comes from the platform, an issuer, or an analytics provider, and whether an independent party audited it. An address count is not a count of unique people.
- Reserves and access to funds: Consider the stablecoin’s reserve composition, redemption arrangements, custody and intermediaries, liquidity, and the rules that apply in the relevant jurisdiction.
These checks matter because stablecoins vary in reserve quality and structure. The Federal Reserve’s 2026 note discusses vulnerabilities that can arise from complex intermediation, limited transparency, liquidity stress, and operational disruption. A large market or transaction-volume figure alone does not establish that a particular stablecoin or platform is low risk.

A separate company review concerns OVEX, a differently named exchange. Its account of triple-digit year-on-year trading-volume growth in 2025 is an OVEX self-reported claim, described as driven largely by stablecoin demand in supported African markets. It is not evidence about Qovex and should not be transferred to it.
