Design Jobs on the Wall was a historical job board associated with Web Designer Wall, not a service whose current listings or operation are verified. N.Design Studio dates the project to 2008, and Web Designer Wall referred to it as its job board in 2009.
What was Design Jobs on the Wall?
Design Jobs on the Wall was a web project connected to Web Designer Wall. N.Design Studio’s portfolio lists “Design Jobs on the Wall (2008)” as a web project: N.Design Studio. Web Designer Wall called it its job board in a February 2009 article: Web Designer Wall.
What kinds of work did it list?
A retrospective description from WebFX says the board focused mainly on design roles, with some coding opportunities, and included both full-time jobs and freelance work: WebFX’s roundup of design and development job feeds. That description reflects the historical board, not a current inventory of vacancies.
What made its visual design distinctive?
The job board was also used to illustrate a large-background-image technique in a Web Designer Wall tutorial. The page combined a cork-board texture repeating across the body with a centered wrapper background; the tutorial recommends choosing a suitably colored matte for the overlay. The author, Aigars Silkalns, wrote: “For this example, I have a cork board pattern repeating in the BODY tag and a wrapper background in the center.” See the background-image tutorial. This is a historical implementation example, not a recommendation that the same CSS approach is best for a site today.

What did employers reportedly pay to post?
A 2008 SmashingApps roundup reported posting fees of $75 for a full-time job and $50 for a freelance job: SmashingApps’ 2008 job-board roundup. Those are historical reported prices only; they do not establish current rates.
Is the job board still active?
Current operation and listing availability have not been verified. The available records establish the project’s historical existence and describe its past offerings, but they do not confirm that job seekers can search it or employers can post jobs now.
