The $79.97 offer for 10TB of Degoo cloud storage was a limited-time promotion published on June 13, 2023, with a deadline of June 18, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. It is not verified as available now. Degoo’s current plan listing instead shows 5,000 GB on its Ultimate plan for $9.99 per month.
What the $79.97 Degoo offer included
The historical promotion described Degoo as cloud storage and backup for photos and files, not as a physical 10TB drive. Cult of Mac Deals listed a comparison price of $1,080 and said the sale ended June 18, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Those figures describe that past promotion; they do not establish a current price or a currently available lifetime plan. Cult of Mac Deals’ listing
How Degoo’s current plan listing differs
Degoo’s current official plans page lists Ultimate with 5,000 GB of storage at $9.99 per month. That is a recurring-price plan with half the capacity advertised in the 2023 lifetime promotion. The current listing does not establish that the former one-time offer remains available or that its terms and features match Ultimate. Check the live plan page and checkout details before signing up. What to check before relying on cloud backup
Availability is not guaranteed
Degoo’s Terms of Service identify Degoo Backup AB as the provider and state: “Degoo does not warrant that the use of the Services, the Platform and the Software will be secure, uninterrupted, safe, always available, error-free or will meet the requirements of the User.” Review the terms applicable to the plan you consider. Inactivity can lead to deletion
The terms say an account and its content may be deleted after the inactivity period displayed on the platform. They also state: “Before a User Account and Content is deleted, however, Degoo will send a notification to the User.” Check the displayed period and applicable plan terms, and keep an independent copy of irreplaceable files.
Features and device support
Degoo’s current feature description says the service can automatically upload photo folders and is available on Android, iOS, and the web. These are descriptions of the current service; they do not prove that each feature or limit applied to the historical 10TB promotion. Degoo’s features page

How to think about a backup purchase
Cloud storage can provide an off-device copy, while an external hard drive can serve as a separate local copy. A drive is not included in the historical Degoo offer, and no specific model is endorsed here. For important files, consider whether you can access and restore them when needed, what happens after inactivity, and whether you have another copy outside the cloud account.
