Candidates can retrieve their individual scorecard through the official portal, csirnet.nta.ac.in, using their application number and date of birth. NTA said it would not send scorecards by post or email.
How do I download the CSIR UGC NET December 2023 scorecard?
- Go to the official CSIR-UGC NET portal: csirnet.nta.ac.in.
- In the candidate activity area, look for the December 2023 “Download Score Card” link. The portal also lists newer exam sessions, so select the link for the correct session if it remains available.
- Enter your application number and date of birth to log in.
- Open your scorecard, then download or print it for your records.
The official portal’s activity area lists scorecard and e-certificate links separately. For historical official notices, the NTA archive includes the December 2023 score declaration notice and a separate route for generating JRF award letters and e-certificates for qualified candidates.
What details do I need to download my CSIR NET scorecard?
You need your application number and date of birth. NTA’s public notice dated 3 February 2024 directs candidates to use these details on the official portal to view, download, or print their scorecards. The notice states: “No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates in hard copy by post or through e-mail.”
What if the December 2023 scorecard link is unavailable?
Because this is a historical exam session and the portal now lists newer sessions, the old link may not remain accessible. Check the official portal and its archive for the relevant notice or candidate route. If you cannot access your scorecard, use the official portal’s contact or helpdesk information; do not enter your application number or date of birth on an unofficial site.

Does a scorecard mean I am selected or certified?
No. NTA cautioned that appearing in the examination or holding a scorecard does not itself confer a right to further selection. Eligibility criteria and supporting documents are verified at later stages. NTA also said certificates would be issued to qualified candidates after CSIR declares the final result. The scorecard, certificate, and any subsequent eligibility or selection decision are separate steps.
