What was the CMAT 2024 exam date?
The National Testing Agency’s initial information bulletin said CMAT 2024 would take place in May. A later NTA schedule notice, dated 24 April 2024, set the exam date as 15 May 2024. The test was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode at examination centres across the country.
NTA described CMAT as a national-level entrance examination for selection to management programmes at AICTE-affiliated or participating institutions. The registration notice specified that the question paper would be in English only. CMAT 2024 application and correction deadlines
- Online application: 29 March to 18 April 2024; the registration notice gave 9:50 p.m. as the application-submission deadline on 18 April.
- Fee payment: Due by 11:50 p.m. on 18 April 2024.
- Form correction: 19–21 April 2024.
These dates and cut-off times were stated in NTA’s 29 March 2024 registration notice. They apply to the 2024 sitting only.

How long was the exam, and where were centre details provided?
NTA listed the exam duration as 180 minutes (three hours). The exam was held at centres, not as a take-at-home test. NTA said it would display exam-city intimation on its website before the exam; its 24 April schedule notice specified that this would be before ten days prior to the exam. The examination centre itself was to be the one indicated on the candidate’s admit card.
The schedule notice confirmed the exam date, but the initial bulletin left the release dates for admit cards, exam timing, recorded responses, provisional answer keys and results to later announcements. It therefore should not be treated as the source of those separate dates.
