What does Ronaldo’s new Al-Nassr contract confirm?
Al-Nassr announced Ronaldo’s renewal on 26 June 2025. The Saudi Pro League described it as a two-year extension through 2027; The Guardian specified June 2027, when Ronaldo would be 42. The league’s announcement and The Guardian’s report support the term and timing.
Ronaldo marked the renewal by saying, “A new chapter begins. Same passion, same dream. Let’s make history together.” The Saudi Pro League also published his explanation of the decision: “And I still believe in that. This is why I renewed the two years more – because I believe that I will be champion in Saudi Arabia.” That is his stated sporting reason for staying, not a statement about his compensation. How much will Ronaldo earn at Al-Nassr?

What does his recent record add to the picture?
BBC Sport reported that Ronaldo scored 35 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions in 2024–25 and was the Saudi Pro League’s top scorer for a second consecutive season.
