Claroty announced a $150 million Series F financing on January 22, 2026, led by Golub Growth, an affiliate of Golub Capital. The company said it will use the capital for international expansion, product development, and potential organic and inorganic growth. The funding comes as larger companies acquire or pursue Claroty’s competitors—but Claroty did not announce that it had bought a rival in this financing release.
What Claroty announced
The financing is a $150 million Series F round led by Golub Growth. Claroty also said existing investors had committed up to an additional $50 million in participation. Because the company presented that participation separately, it should not automatically be described as a $200 million financing.

What Claroty sells
Claroty focuses on cybersecurity for cyber-physical systems (CPS): connected digital systems that monitor or control physical processes. These environments include industrial facilities, energy and utility networks, hospitals, medical devices, commercial buildings, public-sector systems, and other critical infrastructure.
That remit overlaps several related categories, but they are not identical. Operational technology (OT) controls or monitors industrial processes. Internet of Things (IoT) covers connected devices broadly, while Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) refers specifically to connected healthcare equipment. CPS is the wider idea linking digital systems to physical operations.
Claroty describes its platform as providing capabilities including:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →- Asset discovery and inventory;
- Network visibility and OT monitoring;
- Vulnerability identification and attribution;
- Threat detection and exposure management;
- Secure remote access;
- Healthcare IoT protection; and
- Vulnerability research through Team82.
The company also announced its CPS Library, which it describes as an AI-powered asset catalog developed with Schneider Electric and Rockwell Automation. Product superlatives such as “first-of-its-kind” are Claroty’s descriptions, not independent performance findings.

- SonicWall TZ270W Appliance Only - No Service Subscription (02-SSC-2823) - Combines enterprise-grade firewalling with integrated 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi to deliver secure wired and wireless connectivity in one compact device for small offices and clinics.
- Blocks zero-day threats and ransomware with Capture ATP sandboxing enhanced by RTDMI, plus IPS and anti-malware scanning for layered protection.
- Eliminates the need for separate access points in smaller spaces thanks to built-in high-speed wireless that is simple to deploy and manage.
- Supports VPN, SD-WAN, and TLS 1.3 decryption to secure hybrid cloud access and remote workers while maintaining usability and performance.
- Delivers gigabit performance with up to 750,000 concurrent connections to handle growth in users, devices, and SaaS applications.
The security stakes are different from those of ordinary office IT. A compromised industrial controller, medical device, building system, or utility asset can affect production, safety, healthcare delivery, or service availability. At the same time, many OT environments contain legacy equipment, proprietary protocols, intermittent connectivity, and systems that cannot safely be scanned or patched like ordinary endpoints.
The acquisition context is mostly outside Claroty
The headline reference to acquisitions of rivals can be misleading. The available evidence points mainly to consolidation elsewhere in the market, rather than to Claroty announcing a new competitor acquisition.

Claroty’s own Medigate deal was strategically important because it expanded the company from industrial OT security into healthcare IoT and the broader XIoT market. Claroty announced the transaction alongside its Series E financing in December 2021 and announced its completion on January 10, 2022. The original announcements are available from Claroty and the acquisition-completion release.
CRN reported the broader consolidation involving Nozomi Networks, Armis, and the denied Axonius reports. These events should not be treated as equivalent: a completed acquisition, an announced agreement, a media report, and a denied rumor carry different levels of certainty.

Why the financing matters
Large industrial and enterprise-software companies are showing interest in OT and CPS security because cyber incidents can disrupt factories, utilities, transportation, hospitals, and other physical services. Strategic buyers can offer acquired vendors global distribution, cloud infrastructure, sales capacity, and cross-selling opportunities.
Claroty’s new capital gives it more room to compete with those larger platforms while remaining independent. It may help the company expand internationally, hire sales and research staff, broaden coverage, and acquire adjacent technologies. It may also give Claroty more leverage if it eventually considers a merger, acquisition, or public offering.
None of those outcomes is guaranteed. The financing alone does not establish that Claroty is profitable, has the strongest product, will acquire a rival, or will become a public company.

Claroty’s release said its valuation had risen 80% since its March 2024 financing, but it did not publish the new valuation. A Calcalist report, as relayed by CRN, put the company’s valuation at approximately $3 billion. That figure should be treated as a media-reported valuation, not as a number confirmed by Claroty’s financing announcement.

CRN also reported that CEO Yaniv Vardi said Claroty could pursue an IPO as soon as 2027. That is an aspirational possibility, not a filed registration, confirmed timetable, or announcement that Claroty is preparing to go public. The available announcement does not establish revenue, profitability, banker appointments, the precise financing structure, or how much of the round was primary capital versus secondary liquidity.
What the deal could mean for enterprise buyers
Funding can improve a security vendor’s ability to invest and support customers, but a financing headline is not a substitute for technical due diligence. Buyers evaluating Claroty or alternatives should examine:
- Coverage of OT, IoT, IoMT, and building systems;
- Passive discovery versus carefully controlled active assessment;
- Support for legacy equipment and proprietary industrial protocols;
- Cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment options;
- Data residency and regional support;
- Vulnerability attribution and prioritization quality;
- Integrations with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, identity, and vulnerability-management systems;
- Secure remote access and third-party vendor access;
- Incident-response and managed-service options;
- Licensing based on assets, sites, sensors, users, or data volume; and
- Roadmap and pricing risk if a vendor is acquired.
There are practical trade-offs. Passive monitoring is generally safer for sensitive OT networks, but may reveal less than a carefully controlled active assessment. A broad CPS platform may reduce tool sprawl, while a specialist provider may offer deeper expertise in a particular industry or protocol family. AI-assisted asset classification may reduce analyst workload, but buyers should request accuracy data, explainability, human-review controls, and evidence from environments containing rare or proprietary devices.

The broader market question
Consolidation can benefit customers when it produces better integration, stronger support, and more complete visibility. It can also reduce independent choices, create overlapping products, change pricing, and introduce uncertainty about product roadmaps.
For investors and market observers, the more important questions are whether Claroty can convert technical capabilities into repeatable global sales, retain and expand existing customers, and grow without relying too heavily on acquisitions. Claroty has said it serves 24 of the Fortune 100, but that company-provided figure does not by itself demonstrate revenue quality, retention, profitability, or market leadership.
The immediate significance of the Series F is therefore strategic: Claroty has raised substantial private capital at a time when CPS security is attracting industrial and enterprise-software buyers. The money strengthens its ability to remain independent and pursue expansion, while the IPO possibility remains unconfirmed.
