The claim that Chimpzee had raised more than $2.4 million appeared in a sponsored article published on December 5, 2023—not in a current fundraising report. That article described Stage 16 as the “final presale” stage, but its advertised sale terms are historical, and the available evidence does not independently verify the fundraising or environmental-impact figures.

What did the $2.4 million headline mean?

NFT News Today’s December 5, 2023 article, “Chimpzee Unleashed: Crypto Odyssey of Impact and Earnings,” reported that Chimpzee had raised more than $2.4 million and was in Stage 16 of its token presale. The page is marked “Sponsored” and ends by inviting readers to buy CHMPZ. Its fundraising figure and language suggesting investor enthusiasm should therefore be read as promotional claims, not independent evidence of demand or verified proceeds. Read the sponsored article.

The reviewed sources do not independently confirm how much was raised. The figure describes what the sponsored article said at that time; it is not evidence of current fundraising, token sales, or investor participation.

What were the advertised Stage 16 terms?

The 2023 article advertised a Stage 16 price of $0.00155 per token, a stated listing price of $0.00185, possible bonus tokens of up to 200%, and a giveaway. These were historical promotional terms in that article. They do not establish a current sale, price, listing, bonus, or giveaway, and should not be used as current purchasing information. What are Chimpzee and CHMPZ?

Chimpzee is a project whose website describes a crypto token and a digital ecosystem connected to NFTs and rewards. Its site says CHMPZ is available on Ethereum and Solana, promotes NFT Passports, and describes a launched shop, a marketplace in development, and a game pending development. Those are the project’s own descriptions; they do not independently confirm that a feature is working, available in a particular location, or delivering rewards. Chimpzee’s website.

The official site lists Ethereum contract address 0x1161aB556bAA457994b1D6A6cCa3A7a6891009FD. Etherscan identifies that address as ChimpzeeCoin (CHMPZ), an ERC-20 token, and links to the project website. This supports the token’s identity and project attribution on Ethereum; it does not establish the token’s safety, liquidity, value, or investment merits. View the token on Etherscan.

What evidence supports the planet-saving claims?

The sponsored 2023 article said Chimpzee had donated more than $50,000. It cited $15,000 and a further $20,000 for the WILD Foundation, a contribution associated with planting 20,000 trees through One Tree Planted, and protection of 1,000 square meters of Australian rainforest. These numbers are claims reported by that article, not independently confirmed donation records or verified conservation outcomes. The article’s claims.

Chimpzee’s website also says the project supports organizations and directs a portion of profits to charity. That is a project claim. The reviewed sources do not include confirmation from the named beneficiaries or documentation establishing the amount, date, or conservation result of each contribution. What can a reader conclude?

  • The more-than-$2.4-million fundraising figure and Stage 16 sale details were reported in a sponsored article dated December 5, 2023; the reviewed evidence does not independently verify them.
  • The “final presale” wording and advertised bonuses are historical promotion, not proof that a presale remains open or that the stated terms apply today.
  • The Ethereum contract is identified on Etherscan as ChimpzeeCoin (CHMPZ), but contract identification alone says nothing about investment safety or likely returns.
  • Fundraising, donations, conservation outcomes, current market conditions, and investment results remain unverified by the sources described here.
