Caylent announced on April 7, 2026, that it had acquired Pronetx, an Amazon Connect and AWS-native customer-experience specialist. Caylent says the deal expands its AI-focused services into contact-center design, migration, operation and ongoing development. It did not disclose the purchase price or other financial terms.
What Caylent is buying
Pronetx specializes in customer-experience transformation built around Amazon Connect, AWS’s cloud contact-center service, and related AWS-native solutions. The deal is about professional services and software for enterprise customer engagement—not a consumer product.
Caylent’s announcement presents the acquisition as adding a customer-engagement layer to its existing work in cloud infrastructure, applications, data and managed operations. Its stated rationale is to help organizations build and run customer-experience systems on AWS, including systems that use AI. That is Caylent’s strategic framing; the announcement does not independently establish the deal’s market impact or post-acquisition results.
What Caylent says the expanded offer includes
Contact-center modernization
Caylent says it can help organizations replace legacy contact-center platforms or expand an existing Amazon Connect environment. Its service page describes support for design, migration and ongoing operations, and positions Caylent Accelerate as part of its modernization offering. These are descriptions of Caylent’s services, not independent evidence that every project achieves a particular outcome. Caylent’s Amazon Connect services

AI-enabled customer engagement
The companies describe the opportunity as adding AI and self-service capabilities to customer interactions on Amazon Connect. Caylent CEO Valerie Henderson said in the acquisition announcement: “The intelligent enterprise is not complete until customer experience catches up. The Pronetx team has focused on solving exactly that problem for some of the most demanding organizations in the world.”
Amazon Connect Vice President Pasquale DeMaio said in the same announcement: “Customer experience is rapidly emerging as one of the most important AI use cases in the enterprise, and Amazon Connect sits at the intersection of cloud, data, and generative AI.” Both comments are statements by interested parties, not independent assessments of the acquisition.

CxPortal and managed services
Caylent said Pronetx’s CxPortal software, which extends Amazon Connect, “will be integrated” with Caylent’s agentic managed-services platform. The announcement describes this as planned work; it does not establish that integration is complete. The available announcement also does not specify a completion date or describe changes to customer contracts.
What the customer examples do—and don’t—show
Caylent cited a federal-agency migration involving 5,000 agents and more than 350,000 daily calls. The company said it completed that project in under 60 days with zero downtime. These are Caylent’s figures for one project, not independently audited or typical performance benchmarks. Caylent’s acquisition announcement

A separate AWS Architecture Blog case study describes New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), which handled more than 250,000 patient calls per year across over 100 queues before migrating to Amazon Connect. AWS says the engagement ran for 13 weeks, covering discovery and foundation, build and implementation, and acceptance testing and go-live. AWS reports a 54 percent improvement in patient enrollment for that case study; it is a result reported for that customer example, not a general promise or proof that other deployments will produce the same outcome. How to assess the deal if you are considering a contact-center project
The acquisition signals an expanded provider offer, not a published price list or a side-by-side performance comparison. Organizations evaluating a project can use the service areas Caylent describes to frame questions for any prospective provider:
Rank #4
- Migration or expansion: Are you replacing a legacy platform, or extending an existing Amazon Connect deployment?
- Project scope: Does the engagement cover discovery and design, implementation, testing and launch, or only some of those stages?
- Operations: Who will manage the system after go-live, and what operational tools are included? Caylent describes multi-region management and configuration visibility as part of its offer.
- AI and self-service: Which customer interactions are intended to use AI or self-service, and how will the provider define and measure the result?
- Commercial terms: What are the project fees, ongoing operating costs, responsibilities and service commitments? The acquisition announcement does not provide comparable pricing or performance benchmarks.
AWS’s partner directory lists Amazon Connect delivery partners and identifies Pronetx as part of Caylent. Separately, Caylent announced in June 2026 a multi-year AWS Strategic Collaboration Agreement that it said would expand customer-engagement work building on the Pronetx acquisition. The agreement announcement was distributed through PR Newswire; it does not provide the full agreement terms. AWS’s Amazon Connect partner directory · Caylent’s AWS collaboration announcement

Caylent’s April 7 announcement does not state the acquisition price or other financial terms. It also does not establish staffing changes, customer-contract transfers, completion of the CxPortal integration or post-acquisition performance. The deal’s significance, based on the available statements, is the addition of Amazon Connect-focused customer-experience services and software to Caylent’s AWS practice.
