Airbus led Boeing in both commercial-aircraft gross orders and deliveries in July 2026. Airbus recorded 204 gross orders and delivered 67 aircraft; Boeing recorded 38 gross orders and delivered 53. That gave Airbus a 166-order lead and a 14-delivery lead for the month.

July 2026 orders and deliveries at a glance

The comparison below covers commercial aircraft. Orders are reported on a gross basis, not net orders.

Forecast International’s July comparison reports the Boeing figures and compares them with Airbus’s monthly totals. Airbus’s official reporting page provides monthly order and delivery tables valid at the end of each reporting month: Airbus commercial aircraft orders and deliveries. Forecast International’s July analysis is available at Forecast International.

Boeing’s reported total consisted of 39 737 MAX aircraft—32 MAX 8s and seven MAX 9s—10 787s (nine 787-9s and one 787-10), three 767s (two 767-2Cs and one 767-300F) and one 777 Freighter.

How to interpret the order figures

Gross orders count announced orders before cancellations are deducted. Forecast International describes net orders as gross orders minus cancellations and says its analysis excludes Boeing ASC 606 accounting adjustments. The order comparison here therefore uses gross orders for both manufacturers, rather than mixing gross and net measures.

How July fits into the year-to-date totals

Through July 31, Forecast International reports 418 Airbus deliveries and 367 Boeing deliveries, putting Airbus 51 ahead year to date. Gross orders through that date were 1,090 for Airbus and 483 for Boeing, a difference of 607. These are cumulative totals through July, not July-only figures.

Boeing’s official second-quarter release reported 171 commercial deliveries in Q2 and 314 through June; those figures do not establish Boeing’s July tally. Boeing cautions that delivery information in that release is not considered final until quarterly results are issued. The July Boeing figures above come from Forecast International’s comparison. See Boeing’s Q2 delivery release.
