Boeing Delivered More Commercial Aircraft in 2025 Than in All of 2024

Boeing’s full-year commercial deliveries rose from 348 in 2024 to 600 in 2025, a calculated increase of 252 aircraft. The annual figures do not verify a specific 2025 year-to-date snapshot.

Yes—on a full-year basis, Boeing delivered 600 commercial airplanes in 2025, compared with 348 in all of 2024. That is 252 more aircraft, or about 72% more by calculation. The comparison uses Boeing’s annual results released in January 2026; it does not verify the original headline’s specific “so far in 2025” snapshot.

How Boeing’s full-year delivery totals compare

Period Commercial airplanes delivered Source and reporting date
Full-year 2024 348 Boeing, Jan. 28, 2025
Full-year 2025 600 Boeing, Jan. 27, 2026

Subtracting Boeing’s reported 2024 total from its 2025 total gives an increase of 252 deliveries. The approximately 72% increase is also a calculation from those two company-reported figures, not a separate statistic reported by Boeing.

What “so far in 2025” means here

A year-to-date claim needs a dated snapshot: both the count and the date through which it was measured. The annual results establish that Boeing delivered 600 commercial airplanes over the whole of 2025, but they do not establish the interim count or publication date behind the phrase “so far in 2025.” Treat the title’s wording as a historical snapshot claim, not as another way to state the final annual total.

What the comparison includes—and what it does not

These are Boeing commercial-airplane deliveries, compared across matching full calendar years. They do not include Boeing defense or space deliveries, aircraft production rates, or orders. Boeing described its 2025 commercial total as its highest annual total since 2018.

Boeing’s 2024 fourth-quarter results also reported 57 commercial deliveries in that quarter. That quarter figure is part of the 348 full-year 2024 total, not an additional amount to add to it. Boeing’s 2024 total was down from 528 in 2023, according to the same 2024 results release.

Why 2024 was a difficult comparison year

The Associated Press reported in January 2025 that intensified government scrutiny and a machinists’ strike hampered Boeing’s production and delivery capability during 2024. That provides context for the lower 2024 figure, but it is not a complete explanation of the increase in 2025 or proof that any single factor caused the subsequent change.
