The claim that Bloom raised $3.6 million is not confirmed by the available sources. Bloom’s own materials describe a U.S. marketplace that connects hardware companies with manufacturing, logistics, and service providers, but they do not verify a funding round, its date, investors, or how proceeds would be used.

What Bloom says its marketplace does

Bloom describes itself as an operations marketplace for hardware companies, including businesses in drones, robotics, and mobility. A company posts work, and Bloom says it matches that work with U.S. providers; the company approves which providers can bid. Bloom’s official press page summarizes the model as “A marketplace where hardware companies post manufacturing, logistics and service work; Bloom matches it to U.S. providers, and the company approves who bids.”

The work Bloom lists extends beyond making a product. Its pages describe manufacturing and assembly, logistics, warehousing, delivery, and after-sales service. Bloom says it checks providers for capabilities, capacity, and experience, and vets brands for funding, technical readiness, and engineering specifications. Those are the company’s descriptions of its own process; the available sources do not independently establish service quality or project results. See Bloom’s brand page and services information.

What the reported network size means

Bloom reports a network of 500+ providers across 1,000+ U.S. locations, as of September 2026. These are company-reported counts, not an independently audited measure of U.S. manufacturing capacity or the broader market. The figure indicates the scale Bloom says its network has reached; it does not show how many providers are available for a particular project or whether they have relevant capacity at a given time. Bloom’s press page is the source for the count and date.

Is the $3.6 million raise confirmed?

No. The sources available for this article do not confirm that Bloom raised $3.6 million. They also do not establish the date of a raise, its investors, or the intended use of any proceeds. Without an original company announcement or investor statement, the funding figure should be treated as unverified, not as an established company milestone.

How a hardware company can assess Bloom

For a company asking, “How do I find a U.S. manufacturer for my hardware product?”, Bloom is one described route: post work to a marketplace, review bids from providers Bloom says it vets, and choose who may bid. Before relying on it, a prospective customer can compare the details that affect fit and cost:

  • Scope: Confirm that the network covers the exact work needed, such as assembly, warehousing, delivery, or after-sales support, not just manufacturing.
  • Provider fit: Ask for evidence of relevant capabilities, available capacity, and experience for the specific product and production requirements.
  • Control of bidding: Clarify how Bloom’s approval process works and how the customer selects among eligible providers.
  • Geography and logistics: Verify provider locations, shipping responsibilities, and the practical implications for the project.
  • Total cost: Compare marketplace charges, provider quotes, and any additional service costs against direct sourcing or other options. The available sources do not establish that Bloom is cheaper, faster, or more reliable than alternatives.

Published pricing

Bloom’s brand page lists a “Seed” plan at $6,000 per month, described as full access to the network with limited access to finance tools. This is a page-specific published offer and may change; confirm current terms and any other charges directly with Bloom before making a decision.
