What updates were reported from BlockDAG’s AMA?
TechBullion reports that BlockDAG held its fifth AMA on February 20, 2025, and says the discussion included the Academy, grants, hackathons, and an ambassador program. That is a secondary account, not a transcript. The original recording or transcript was not available in the sources reviewed, so the full event record—and which later Academy details were announced during it—cannot be verified. What does the $30 million grants claim mean?
BlockDAG’s litepaper, revision 2, describes a $30 million grants initiative over three years. It frames the program as support for ecosystem projects such as infrastructure, DeFi, stablecoins, decentralized applications, and tools. The $30 million figure is a stated program amount, not evidence that $30 million has been awarded or paid out. The litepaper’s planned application timing and award range are also not the same as the terms now shown on BlockDAG’s grants page.
What does BlockDAG’s current grants page say?
The official page describes a 2026 cycle focused on Ethereum-compatible dApps and ecosystem adoption. It lists user adoption, Ethereum integration, developer experience, and community tools among its priorities. It states that awards range from $10,000 to $100,000, paid in BDAG tokens and USDT, and describes technical and business review followed by milestone-based disbursement. Check BlockDAG’s grants page.

These are related but non-identical descriptions published in different documents. The current page does not establish that the full $30 million described in the litepaper remains available for the 2026 cycle. Builders should use the grants page to check the active application process, eligibility, and terms rather than assuming the earlier timeline or minimum award still applies.
