The Bindaring Clothing Sale is an annual, volunteer-run fundraiser for WA Red Cross, offering pre-loved clothing and accessories in sections ranging from budget finds to boutique, designer and vintage items. Its latest dated listing found was for Saturday 16 May 2026 at Robinson Pavilion, Claremont Showground; that date has passed, and a later event date has not been confirmed in the sources available. The organizer listed free entry and 9 am–3 pm hours for the 2026 sale.
When is the Bindaring Clothing Sale?
The latest dated event listing is for Saturday 16 May 2026 at Robinson Pavilion, Claremont Showground. The Royal Agricultural Society of WA lists that date, and Bindaring’s sale page gives the event hours as 9 am to 3 pm and entry as free. Because the 2026 sale has passed, those details should not be treated as the schedule for a future event. No later sale date is confirmed in the available listings. Check Bindaring’s website for an updated announcement.
Bindaring describes the sale as an annual fundraiser for WA Red Cross. Australian Red Cross says it began in 1963, and Bindaring says Robinson Pavilion has been its permanent home since 1991. Bindaring reports that the sale has raised more than $3.5 million and that over 98.5% of donated items find a new home.
What can you buy at the sale?
The sale is organized into sections, with published starting prices. The items are pre-loved and second-hand; prices, sizes, condition and availability depend on what has been donated and brought to the event.

How to shop: condition, changing rooms and final sale
Bindaring says items are sold as-is, and all sales are final: no refunds, exchanges or returns. Before paying, inspect each item’s size, condition, marks, damage and other imperfections. The price and pre-loved condition make that check especially important if you cannot try something on or verify a detail later.

Getting to Robinson Pavilion and parking
For the 2026 event, Bindaring listed pedestrian access via Gate 1 and vehicle access via Gate 8. Its transport information identifies Showground and Claremont as the closest train stations and lists nearby bus routes. See the Bindaring transport page for those route details, and check event information for current access arrangements.
Parking prices differ across the published pages: Bindaring’s sale page and the Town of Cottesloe list $10, while Bindaring’s transport page lists $8. Neither amount should be assumed to apply to a future sale; confirm the current charge with the event or venue before travelling.

How to donate clothes or volunteer
Bindaring’s FAQ says it holds three donation drop-off days at Claremont Showground each year and offers free pickups from homes or businesses. The available information does not establish current drop-off dates or pickup eligibility, so check the donations page or contact Bindaring before arranging a donation. The contact page lists separate email addresses for general enquiries, volunteering and donations.
Australian Red Cross reported in 2025 that Bindaring receives 8–10 tonnes of donations each year. Bindaring President Althea Mahon said the group focuses on reusing, recycling and upcycling clothing and accessories so donations do not end up in landfill.
