Home Depot’s 2025 Black Friday event featured tool deals from DeWalt, Ryobi and Milwaukee, but those prices are historical—not current offers. The retailer said seasonal savings began in early November and continued through December; Axios reported the sale ran through December 3. Below are examples published during the event and what to check before buying any current listing.
When Home Depot’s 2025 Black Friday sale ran
Home Depot said, “For the first time ever, our Black Friday prices will be available throughout the holiday season,” with savings starting in early November and lasting through December, both in stores and online. The company also said its stores would be closed on Thanksgiving Day. The Home Depot’s 2025 holiday announcement described the event as including seasonal savings on tools and hardware.
In contemporary coverage, Axios reported on November 7, 2025, that Home Depot’s Black Friday savings continued through December 3. The event has ended, so none of the historical prices below should be treated as available now. Axios’s November 7, 2025 report supplies that reported end date.
Examples of DeWalt, Ryobi and Milwaukee deals
Car and Driver’s November 11, 2025 roundup listed the following Home Depot deal examples. Its prices were a dated snapshot: the publication warned that prices could vary and deals could come and go. The item-level figures were not confirmed by archived official Home Depot offer terms.

How to compare the tool offers
The examples are different kinds of purchases: a battery-and-tool bundle, a kit, a free-tool promotion and individual tools. A lower headline price does not by itself establish better value. Compare the package with what you need and what you already own.
Rank #2
- Compact (7.6 in. front to back), lightweight design fits into tight areas. Variable speed trigger allows for control and precision on delicate work surfaces.
- DCS381 with keyless blade clamp allows for quick blade change without touching blade or reciprocating shaft.
- Hook the DCL040 20V MAX* Lithium Ion LED Work Light in your workspace for more visibility and hands-free use
- Optimized rubber overmolded comfort grip for optimized balance and control.
- Quick-change wheel release allows for tool-free wheel changes without the need for a wrench
- Check battery platform compatibility. Confirm that batteries work with your existing tools and that the voltage and product line match. A battery included in a bundle may be useful only if you can use that platform.
- Identify what is in the box. The DeWalt example included two batteries and a charger; the Ryobi example bundled two batteries and a charger with a free impact wrench. Do not assume a bare tool includes batteries or a charger.
- Match the tool to the job. An impact wrench, grinder, reciprocating saw and rolling tool box serve different purposes; their prices are not directly comparable as substitutes.
- Read the current offer terms. Check whether a current listing is for a kit, bare tool or bundle, and whether a free-item promotion has conditions. The 2025 roundup does not establish those terms for a present-day listing.
- Treat reference prices cautiously. The roundup gave reference prices for some items, but those comparisons do not establish a current discount or guarantee that the same reference price applies today.
How to check Home Depot listings now
Home Depot’s current Tool Savings page lists deals by DeWalt, Milwaukee and Ryobi. It can help you inspect present-day listings, but it does not show that a 2025 Black Friday price remains valid. Verify the item’s current price, stock and offer details on the listing for your location before purchasing.
