In Capital One Auto Navigator’s April 22, 2024 roundup, six electric-vehicle offers were listed with advertised 0% APR financing: the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV9, Kia Niro EV, Nissan Ariya and Subaru Solterra. The offers applied to specified model years, had different terms and expiration dates, and were reported using a Southern California ZIP code for qualified shoppers—not as a complete national list. They are historical promotions, not offers available today.

The terms below are those reported by Capital One Auto Navigator on April 22, 2024. Capital One checked advertised offers using a Southern California ZIP code; the offers were for qualified shoppers. The roundup does not establish that these were the only US offers, and local availability, eligibility and dealer inventory could differ.

| Hyundai Ioniq 5, 2024 | Up to 60 months | Alternative offer: $7,500 total savings. Both offers reported through April 30, 2024. |
| Kia EV9, 2024 | 48 months | Choice of 0% financing or $7,500 customer cash; offer through April 30, 2024. |
| Kia Niro EV, 2024 | Up to 60 months | Alternative offer: $5,000 customer cash; offer through April 30, 2024. |

| Subaru Solterra, 2023 and 2024 | 72 months | Offer through April 30, 2024. |
These are advertised financing terms, not a comparison of the vehicles’ driving range, total ownership costs, depreciation or quality. The roundup also included EV promotions that were not 0% APR, such as a 0.99% APR offer on the Hyundai Kona Electric; not every deal in that article was a zero-interest offer.
Could you choose cash instead of 0% financing?
For some offers, yes—but the cash incentive and promotional financing may be alternatives rather than benefits that can be combined. Capital One explicitly reported a choice between 0% financing and $7,500 customer cash for the 2024 Kia EV9. It listed $7,500 total savings as an alternative for the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 and $5,000 customer cash as an alternative for the 2024 Kia Niro EV. The roundup does not establish that those cash amounts could be added to the financing offers.

What to check before comparing an advertised EV deal
- Model year: A promotion for a 2023 vehicle does not automatically apply to the newer model year. The listed Mustang Mach-E and Nissan Ariya offers, for example, specified 2023 models.
- Expiration and stock: Several offers ended April 30, 2024; the Mach-E offer was reported through May 1 and applied to leftover models. Expiration dates and inventory can limit whether a promotion is usable.
- Eligibility and location: The US roundup was based on a Southern California ZIP code and qualified shoppers. Actual dealer terms may vary by market and buyer.
- Finance versus cash: Verify whether customer cash can be combined with the APR offer. For the EV9, the reported choice was one or the other.
- Other costs and terms: An advertised APR alone does not establish the full amount financed, required down payment, fees or total amount due. Review the actual written contract before deciding.
Offers that should not be counted as confirmed April EV deals
A search result described 0% APR for 72 months on the Toyota bZ4X for qualified customers, but the archived result did not establish the promotion’s month clearly enough to include it as a confirmed April 2024 offer. A Volkswagen 0% APR offer ending April 30, 2024 applied to the 2024 Tiguan, which is not an electric vehicle, so it does not belong in an EV-deal list.
