What BECIL advertised in 2024
The notice covered nine job categories, from monitoring and content auditing to technical and administrative support. The listed counts add up to 231, but BECIL said the number of posts could increase or decrease according to requirements. The advertised monthly remuneration ranged from Rs. 19,279 to Rs. 59,760.

These are the qualifications and monthly remuneration stated in the historical BECIL Advertisement No. 463. The notice gives role-specific eligibility routes; a general qualification should not be treated as sufficient for every post.
Monitor posts were allocated by language
Of the 165 Monitor positions, the notice allocated 55 to Hindi and 55 to English. The remaining positions were assigned across 11 languages:

Monitor applicants therefore needed to match the language requirement as well as the education, computer-proficiency and experience criteria in the notice.
Eligibility depended on the role
The largest group, Monitor, required graduation, computer proficiency, knowledge of the relevant language and one year of media or news experience. Senior Monitor and Content Auditor applicants faced higher experience requirements and specific journalism or mass-communication credentials, with alternative routes for certain retired Doordarshan or All India Radio personnel. Technical roles required relevant engineering or ITI credentials, while support roles had different education or service criteria.
For any specific post, use the qualification route and experience wording in the official notice rather than assuming the Monitor requirements apply across the recruitment. The notice also described duties—including report editing, team supervision, administration, maintenance and shift operations—that help distinguish jobs with similar titles.
Pay and contract terms
The amounts in the table are the monthly remuneration advertised in 2024, not a current salary schedule. The recruitment was for manpower on a contract basis, deployed at EMMC in Delhi. The notice specified that post numbers could change with requirements; it does not establish how many candidates were ultimately hired.

The application window has ended, but the original terms clarify what applicants were asked to do. BECIL accepted applications online through its website or registration portal and said applications sent by other modes would not be accepted. The listed fees were non-refundable.

Bank and payment-gateway charges were also payable by the applicant. These are the amounts in the 2024 advertisement, not current BECIL application fees.
The notice’s application sequence was:
- Complete the online form, entering education and work-experience details.
- Upload the supporting documents requested by the form and preview the application.
- Pay the applicable fee online. The notice said the fee would not be refunded once paid.
- Email scanned documents as directed in the form and retain a printout of the application.
Selection and preference
BECIL said it would select candidates according to prescribed norms and job requirements. Shortlisted applicants would be informed about any skill test, interview or interaction. The notice gave preference to local candidates and people already working in the same or a similar department; submitting an application alone did not guarantee selection.
