When did the 2023 sale start?
Bath & Body Works announced the event on June 1, 2023. Rewards members had app-only early access beginning June 2 at 6 p.m. EDT. The company said the sale officially started for all customers online and in Bath & Body Works stores nationwide on June 3. The company described dozens of new and returning fragrances at 50–75% off. That was the advertised range, not a guarantee that every item was discounted by the same amount. The release did not provide a complete list of sale items, individual product prices, or store-by-store inventory.
Returning fragrances
The announcement highlighted four returning scents: Cucumber Melon, Juniper Breeze, White Tea & Ginger, and Plumeria. It did not specify every format or SKU available for each fragrance.

The limited-edition collection marked the scent’s 25th anniversary and included six formats:
- Fine Fragrance Mist: a wearable fragrance format.
- Ultimate Hydration Body Cream: a moisturizing body-care format.
- Daily Nourishing Body Lotion: a lighter moisturizing body-care format.
- Shower Gel: for cleansing.
- 3-Wick Candle: for home fragrance.
- Gentle Foaming Hand Soap: for handwashing.
The release names these formats but does not give separate sale prices for them, so it does not support a claim that one was a better deal than another. Chief Merchandising Officer Betsy Schumacher described the fragrance as appealing both to longtime customers introduced to the brand in the 1990s and to newer customers, calling its freshness a classic that had “stood the test of time.”

Does the 2023 sale tell you what is available now?
No. The 2023 announcement is historical and does not confirm that any of its named products remain listed or in stock. Bath & Body Works’ current Semi-Annual Sale FAQ says sale items are available while supplies last and that sold-out items are usually gone. That is general current guidance, not proof of 2023 inventory or a guarantee that a particular 2023 product can be purchased today.
