Amazon announced that its U.S. Prime Day 2025 event would run from July 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT through July 11, a 96-hour sale. The company said early promotions were already available when it made the announcement on June 16. The event has ended, so the prices and offers below are historical—not current deals.
When was Amazon Prime Day 2025?
For U.S. shoppers, Amazon scheduled Prime Day from 12:01 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, July 8, through Friday, July 11, 2025. Amazon described it as a 96-hour event and said it was the first time Prime Day had lasted four days.
Did Prime Day 2025 run on the same dates worldwide?
No. Amazon announced July 8–11 dates for the United States, the United Kingdom, and several other markets, but said shoppers in some countries would be able to shop later in the summer. Its separate UK announcement also gave July 8–11 as the UK schedule.
| Market or group | Schedule Amazon announced |
|---|---|
| United States | July 8 at 12:01 a.m. PDT through July 11, 2025 |
| United Kingdom | July 8–11, 2025 |
| Brazil, Egypt, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates | Later in summer 2025; Amazon’s announcement did not give specific dates for these markets |
These schedules come from Amazon’s U.S. and UK press announcements in June 2025; the U.S. dates should not be taken as a worldwide schedule.

What early Prime Day deals did Amazon announce?
Amazon’s June 16 announcement said early offers had already started. Its examples included:
- BBQ essentials starting at $3.
- Grocery and household essentials for under $5.
- Swimwear from $12.
- School tech from $15, plus up to 50% off college essentials.
Those were advertised examples from the 2025 announcement, not independently verified prices or offers available now. Amazon’s later preview also described select deals, including up to 40% off select TVs, and offers on Anker chargers and speakers and Samsung Chromebooks. The wording “select” matters: these examples do not mean every product in those categories was discounted.

Its previews also featured Amazon device bundles and deals on select Echo, Ring, Kindle, Fire TV, and eero devices.

The company said they would launch at midnight PDT each day and remain available for a limited time while supplies lasted. Tools Amazon promoted for finding offers
Amazon also promoted shopping features including lists, Buy Again, Alexa+ deal alerts for eligible users, Rufus recommendations, Interests, and AI-powered Shopping Guides. These were presented as ways to discover or track offers; their mention does not establish how well any feature performed.
Are the 2025 prices still available?
The advertised prices and discounts were tied to a July 2025 event that has ended. They do not establish a product’s current price, stock, or discount. If you are checking a named item such as an Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick 4K Max, Kindle Colorsoft, Samsung Chromebook, or Anker charger, verify the current listing and the exact model or bundle before buying; the 2025 examples provide no basis for calling any of them a current deal.

What Amazon said about the event
Amazon’s June 2025 announcement quoted Jamil Ghani, then vice president of Amazon Prime, describing Prime Day as a celebration of members through savings and convenient delivery. That is Amazon’s promotional characterization, not an independent measure of shopper savings. The announcement and preview do not establish an independent event-sales total or how much shoppers saved.
