You can earn points from qualifying Allegiant purchases and eligible card spending, then redeem them online for qualifying itineraries that include at least one flight. Points do not have a fixed award-chart price, and standalone hotel or rental car bookings are not eligible for redemption.
How do I earn Allegiant points?
Join Allways Rewards and sign in before booking on Allegiant.com so an eligible purchase can be associated with your account. Purchases made through customer care may qualify after Allegiant validates your account details. The program’s terms and FAQ govern which transactions count.
Points from a booking accrue to the primary member’s account, including when that member books travel for other passengers. Points generally cannot be pooled or transferred between members.
Booking-based points
Allegiant says members earn 1 point per qualified dollar on Allegiant.com purchases. Its FAQ also lists 2 points per qualified dollar on eligible Allegiant itineraries when qualified spend is at least $500. The qualified amount—not necessarily the total shown at checkout—is what matters.

Qualified spend is the amount paid out of pocket. Taxes and fees are excluded from base Allways point earning. Dollar-off vouchers and promo codes reduce the eligible amount; a credit voucher can earn points when used, but an expired voucher does not. Hotel-only and rental-car-only itineraries do not earn points: the itinerary must include at least one flight segment.

These are card-earning rates, separate from booking-based Allways points. The card summary excludes or deducts certain transactions, including fees, interest, cash advances, balance transfers, returns, credits, and adjustments. Consult Allegiant’s current card program summary and disclosures for current terms; rates and benefits can change. Allegiant may also offer selective bonuses or promotions, but an offer is not necessarily available to every member.
When do Allways points post?
Points earned from Allegiant travel post 72 hours after midnight of the itinerary’s completion date. That date may be the last flight, rental-car return, or hotel checkout if it is the itinerary’s final component. Card points follow a separate schedule: Allegiant’s terms say they may take one or two billing cycles, while its FAQ says they become eligible after the monthly statement closes. Check the account after the relevant trip completion or statement close.

How do I redeem Allegiant points?
- Sign in to your Allways account on Allegiant.com. The terms require an active Allegiantair.com profile.
- Build an eligible itinerary that includes at least one airfare segment. You may apply points to qualifying flights and associated hotel, rental car, or destination attraction components.
- At checkout, choose to use points and apply the amount available. Points can cover eligible taxes and applicable fees, up to the full purchase price.
The FAQ says there is no minimum redemption amount, and the terms state redemption starts at one point. The number of points required can vary with destination, travel date, demand, and other factors; Allegiant can change redemption options and point requirements. There is no fixed award chart or guaranteed cents-per-point value to use when comparing a points booking with a cash fare.
Allegiant says eligible redemptions have no blackout dates or locations. That does not make points usable for a standalone hotel stay or car rental: the itinerary still needs at least one airfare segment.

Can I use Allegiant points for hotels or rental cars?
Yes, but only as part of an eligible itinerary that includes a flight. Points may be applied to associated hotel or rental-car components, as well as qualifying attractions, subject to the booking options and point price displayed by Allegiant. A hotel-only or rental-car-only booking is not eligible to earn or redeem Allways points.

Under the Allways Rewards Terms effective September 4, 2025, points expire after 24 months of inactivity. Qualifying Allegiant transactions while logged in—or through customer care after validation and completion of travel—count as activity. An open Allegiant credit card also counts as activity and protects points under the terms. If the card account closes, the 24-month inactivity rule applies. Closing the Allways account forfeits its points.

Can I use Allways points on Sun Country?
As of Allegiant’s current FAQ, Allways points cannot be earned on Sun Country purchases or redeemed for Sun Country flights or related purchases. Allegiant says Allways Rewards Visa holders earn one point per dollar on Sun Country purchases, but card flight benefits apply only to Allegiant-operated flights. Because Allegiant describes its integration plans as evolving, check the Sun Country redemption FAQ for the latest eligibility before booking.
