The National Testing Agency (NTA), acting on the High Court’s behalf, issued the examination-city notice on December 20, 2024. The schedule covered four post groups; candidates’ city-intimation slips and later admit cards provided their individual location details.
Allahabad HC Stage-I exam dates and timings
The NTA notice set the following dates and session times for the four post groups:
| Post | Scheduled date | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Driver Grade IV | January 4, 2025 | 10:30 a.m.–12 noon |
| Group-C Clerical Cadre | January 4, 2025 | 3–4:30 p.m. |
| Stenographer Grade III | January 5, 2025 | 10:30 a.m.–12 noon |
| Group-D | January 5, 2025 | 3–4:30 p.m. |
These dates are historical: the examinations were scheduled for January 4–5, 2025, and are not upcoming. The controlling schedule was the NTA notice issued on behalf of the High Court.
How candidates were to check their city and centre
The notice listed 16 examination cities, all in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates were directed to log in with their credentials to check or download the examination city-intimation slip, which could help with travel or accommodation planning. The slip identified the city; it was not the admit card and did not provide the same centre information.

The High Court’s abridged advertisement said the written examination would be conducted offline on OMR sheets. Further tests depended on the post: the selection process included Hindi or English computer typing, Hindi or English stenography, and technical driving tests where applicable. These were not all requirements for every post.
The advertisement dated October 1, 2024, set the application window as October 4–24, 2024. That application period is separate from the January 2025 Stage-I examination schedule.
