Airbus delivered more commercial aircraft in 2025: 793, compared with Boeing’s 600. That is a lead of 193 aircraft, or about 32% more than Boeing’s total, based on the manufacturers’ full-year reports.
2025 commercial aircraft deliveries
The comparison covers commercial aircraft handed over to customers during calendar year 2025. The figures are company-reported totals confirmed in the manufacturers’ full-year results.
| Manufacturer | Commercial aircraft delivered | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Airbus | 793 | Confirmed in Airbus’s February 19, 2026 full-year results. |
| Boeing | 600 | Confirmed in Boeing’s January 27, 2026 full-year results. |
Subtracting Boeing’s 600 from Airbus’s 793 gives Airbus a 193-aircraft lead. Dividing that difference by Boeing’s total gives approximately 32%. Boeing described its 600 commercial deliveries as its highest annual total since 2018.

How the companies described their operating context
Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury said in the company’s February 19, 2026 results release: “Global demand for commercial aircraft underpins our ongoing production ramp-up, which we are managing while facing significant Pratt & Whitney engine shortages.” This is Airbus’s account of its operating conditions, not an independently established explanation for the delivery gap.

The figures establish which manufacturer handed over more commercial aircraft in 2025 and by how many. They do not, by themselves, establish which company was more profitable, made safer or higher-quality aircraft, or has stronger long-term prospects. Those questions require different evidence than annual delivery totals.
