The AIMA MAT December 2024 CBT 1 registration deadline was November 30, 2024, and has passed. The date in the original “deadline today” notice referred to that day, not today. For a current application, use AIMA’s official MAT portal and check the live schedule for the active cycle.

Which December 2024 MAT deadline was November 30?

Scroll Staff reported on November 30, 2024, that registration for the first computer-based test (CBT 1) was closing that day. Its report listed separate deadlines for the other December test options. These are historical dates reported by Scroll, not dates for a current application cycle. Read Scroll’s November 30, 2024 report.

December 2024 option Reported registration deadline Reported admit-card date Reported test date
CBT 1 November 30, 2024 December 3, 2024 December 7, 2024
Paper-based test (PBT) December 7, 2024 December 10, 2024 December 14, 2024
CBT 2 December 15, 2024 December 18, 2024 December 22, 2024

All dates in the table are from Scroll’s 2024 report. The later PBT and CBT 2 deadlines were distinct from the November 30 CBT 1 deadline; they should not be read as extensions for CBT 1.

Where is the official MAT application link now?

AIMA’s current registration route is its MAT portal. The 2024 application window is closed, so the portal should be used to check the dates and fees for whichever cycle is currently open—not to rely on the old December 2024 schedule. AIMA’s Test Dates page lists cycle-specific dates, which can change.

AIMA’s registration process page provides guidance on applying. Eligibility wording and application requirements should be checked on AIMA’s live pages for the relevant cycle. Its current MAT information says graduates in any discipline and final-year students may apply, but that is current-cycle guidance, not proof of the exact wording used for the 2024 application.

What fees did the 2024 report list?

Scroll reported a fee of ₹2,100 for either PBT or CBT, and ₹3,600 for a two-test combination—PBT+CBT or CBT+CBT. These are figures reported for the December 2024 cycle, not current prices. AIMA’s present FAQ gives different fee information, so check the live portal before budgeting for a new application. AIMA’s MAT FAQ.

What format does AIMA currently describe?

AIMA’s current FAQ describes MAT as a multiple-choice test with 150 questions across five sections, 30 questions per section, to be completed in 120 minutes. The sections it names are Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Economic & Business Environment. It also describes a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. This is the FAQ’s current description; it does not establish that every detail applied unchanged to the December 2024 tests.
