AIIMS CRE-2025 was a common recruitment examination for regular non-faculty Group B and Group C posts at participating AIIMS and other government organizations. Applications closed on 31 July 2025 at 5:00 PM, and the notice scheduled the computer-based test for 25–26 August 2025 on a tentative basis. Both dates have passed, so this is a guide to the 2025 notice, not an open application opportunity.
What AIIMS CRE-2025 covered
The Common Recruitment Examination (CRE)-2025 was conducted by the Examination Section of AIIMS New Delhi for vacancies at 19 participating organizations, including 14 AIIMS institutions, ESIC, JIPMER, Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated hospitals, RIMS Imphal, and RIPANS Aizawl. The recruitment covered regular non-faculty Group B and Group C posts.
AIIMS New Delhi conducted the examination; it was not the sole hiring authority. Each participating organization remained independent and applied its own recruitment rules and service conditions. The respective competent authority made appointment decisions. The notice states: “The Examination Section, AIIMS New Delhi, acts solely as the conducting body for the Computer Based Test (CBT) and other examination processes, based entirely on the vacancy positions and eligibility details furnished by the respective independent organizations.” Read the detailed advertisement, Notice No. 278/2025, dated 11 July 2025.
Vacancies and how to check a post
The detailed advertisement lists vacancies by post and institute in Annexure II. Although the recruitment was described as covering “over 2,300 posts,” the total was not independently verified by summing the vacancy tables. Do not treat that headline figure as a confirmed aggregate.

Eligibility and application conditions in the notice
Eligibility depended on the particular post and participating organization. Candidates had to meet the required qualifications and other eligibility conditions by the application closing date. The notice cautioned that advance eligibility scrutiny might not take place: being allowed to apply or receiving an admit card did not establish that a candidate was eligible for appointment.
Applications were to be submitted online at aiimsexams.ac.in; physical application documents were not to be sent. Applicants were advised to retain the registration slip and payment proof. A candidate applying to more than one post group had to submit a separate application and fee for each group.

A candidate who failed to enter a choice could lose consideration for that institute. Applicants employed by government, semi-government, quasi-government, PSU, autonomous, or government-funded institutions—including contractual employees—were required to provide a no-objection certificate at document verification.

The notice required a separate fee for each post group applied for. It said SC/ST applicants who appeared in the examination would receive their fee back to the source account after results. Other fees were non-refundable, including when an application was rejected for ineligibility.

The notice described a 90-minute CBT with 100 multiple-choice questions worth 400 marks. The exam was divided into five timed sections; candidates could not return to a section after its time expired.

The listed qualifying thresholds were 40% for UR/EWS candidates, 35% for OBC, and 30% for SC/ST and PwBD candidates. For groups requiring matriculation or 10+2 qualifications, the notice said the paper would be bilingual in English and Hindi. Where technical-domain knowledge or a bachelor’s degree or higher was essential, the paper would be in English. The syllabus followed the relevant group’s qualification and experience requirements.
Where to verify notice details
Use the official advertisement for the post-specific vacancy and eligibility tables, and the official AIIMS Raipur recruitment pages for the notice listing and subsequent Raipur updates. Because CRE-2025’s application and scheduled CBT dates are past, those pages are useful for checking historical notices and outcomes—not for applying to the 2025 cycle.
