To manage an existing card account, choose Manage My Account or Pay My Bill on that page to reach the card Account Center. The credit-card Account Center is separate from your myAcademy Rewards loyalty account.
Activate your Academy Sports + Outdoors credit card
The primary account holder must activate the card before making purchases in-store or online, according to Academy’s current card instructions. You can activate online from that page or call the line that matches the card name printed on your card:

These card-specific numbers are listed on Academy’s current card page. A separate general Academy credit-card help page gives 1-800-285-1877 for activation. Because that conflicts with the current product-specific instructions, use the number that matches your card on Academy’s current card page rather than treating the general number as a universal activation line.
Log in to the card Account Center
For an existing card account, go to Academy’s card page and select Manage My Account or Pay My Bill. These options lead to the card Account Center, where cardholders can sign in and handle account tasks.

If you have not registered for online access, Academy says to register after receiving and activating your card. Account Center tools include:
- Checking balances, available credit, transactions and statements
- Making payments and setting up scheduled payments
- Managing personal information, account settings and paperless billing
- Managing authorized buyers and requesting a credit-limit increase
- Sending secure messages
Get help with activation or account access
For card Account Center help, call the customer-care number for your card type in the table above. Have the card name available so you use the right line. The listed TDD/TTY number is 1-888-819-1918.

If your issue is with the separate myAcademy Rewards loyalty account—not the credit-card Account Center—Academy’s loyalty FAQ says that account locks after five failed login attempts. It can be unlocked through an email sent to the registered address, or it unlocks automatically after 24 hours. The FAQ lists Academy customer care at 1-888-922-2336. These lockout instructions apply to the loyalty account; Academy’s cited guidance does not establish that the same rule applies to the card Account Center. See Academy’s myAcademy Rewards FAQ.

Academy’s transition FAQ describes existing Academy Sports + Outdoors card accounts moving to a myAcademy Rewards Credit Card or Mastercard. For accounts covered by that transition, the Account Center username and password remain the same, but the new card has a new account number, expiration date and security code. The FAQ says to activate the replacement card when it arrives and destroy the old card once the new one is ready. Because those instructions relate to a transition schedule, check the FAQ and your account’s specific notices to confirm they apply to your card: transition FAQ.
