1KIN Labs—not Amazon’s Video Games Division—announced GR1D TERM1NAL digital gaming credit packs on an Amazon storefront on October 1, 2024. The company said the credits could be redeemed for rewards in its Web3 gaming ecosystem. That announcement confirms a launch at the time; it does not establish whether the packs are still available, what they cost now, or how redemption currently works.
What were GR1D TERM1NAL credit packs?
They were digital credit packs that 1KIN Labs described as a way to access rewards within GR1D TERM1NAL. According to the company’s October 1, 2024 launch announcement, the credits could be redeemed across blockchain networks and offered access to exclusive content, early-access opportunities, and special discounts through the GR1D ecosystem.

Did Amazon announce or develop the packs?
The available launch announcement attributes the launch to 1KIN Labs and describes Amazon as the storefront where the digital packs were accessible. It does not establish that Amazon’s Video Games Division announced, developed, or endorsed them. TechBullion’s October 1, 2024 article used the Amazon-focused framing, but the company-attributed release identifies 1KIN Labs as the announcing company.

Amazon has discussed digital games and virtual goods in other contexts: its 2012 Game Connect announcement described a service for game developers. That historical activity does not show that Amazon announced the GR1D packs or that they remain on sale.
How were the credits meant to work?
1KIN described GR1D TERM1NAL as a discovery platform for curated Web3 games and presented the packs as credits redeemable within that ecosystem. The October 2024 release named Solana, Avalanche, and Polygon among the networks represented, and listed Blocklords, Aavegotchi, Aurory, and Nifty Island as examples of games in the ecosystem. It said the platform’s initial version was accessible to everyone, while an account was needed to unlock richer features.

What did 1KIN report about the launch?
In its October 1, 2024 release, 1KIN Labs said more than 25,000 gamers had participated in GR1D’s closed beta. That is a company-reported launch-period figure, not an independently audited count.

The October 2024 announcement confirms launch-period access through an Amazon storefront, but the sources cited here do not establish a current listing, price, eligible territory, or present-day redemption terms. Treat the packs as a historical launch unless you can independently confirm a live listing and its terms directly with the seller.
