Zillow Group cofounder Spencer Rascoff and Trulia founder Pete Flint participated in La Haus’s $10 million Series A, announced in June 2020. The round was led by Kaszek Ventures, Acrew Capital, and NFX. La Haus was a Latin American property-search and brokerage business, combining online listings with help guiding buyers through a purchase.

Who invested in La Haus?

HousingWire reported on June 16, 2020, that La Haus announced a $10 million Series A led by Kaszek Ventures, Acrew Capital, and NFX. Zillow Group cofounder Spencer Rascoff and Trulia cofounder Pete Flint also participated as investors. The reported amount is a funding figure, not an independently audited valuation. HousingWire

What is La Haus?

La Haus was more than a property-listings site. Its online search tools connected homebuyers with properties, while agents and salespeople helped guide them through the purchase process. TechCrunch reported that the company also sold homes sourced through relationships with developers. TechCrunch

In a January 2021 announcement, La Haus described portals for Colombian and Mexican properties alongside a digital transaction marketplace. Its claims about listing quality or market position should be understood as company statements, rather than independent assessments. La Haus announcement via PR Newswire

Where did La Haus operate in 2020?

HousingWire described La Haus as operating in Bogotá, Medellín, and Mexico City when it covered the Series A in June 2020. Those cities are a snapshot of the company’s footprint at that time; the cited reports do not establish its current operating status, services, or city coverage as of October 2026. HousingWire

How does the Series A differ from La Haus’s later funding?

The founders’ investment belongs to the June 2020 Series A, not the company’s next major round. La Haus announced a $35 million Series B on January 14, 2021, led by Greenspring Associates. NFX and Spencer Rascoff were among the prior investors participating in that later round. La Haus announcement via PR Newswire

What did investors see in La Haus?

The company combined property discovery with brokerage support and digitally facilitated transactions. That model addressed more of the home-buying process than search alone: it connected prospective buyers to homes and offered human assistance as they moved toward a purchase. In a 2020 interview, Pete Flint described Latin America as “very early on in its infancy of having really professional agents and really professional brokerages.” That was Flint’s view of the opportunity, not a measured description of every market in the region.
