It charged eligible new users $59.99 per month for the first two months, compared with the then-displayed regular price of $82.99. That meant $23 off each month, or $46 in total savings.
The offer was reported as extended through March 17, 2026. YouTube TV’s official homepage subsequently showed a different offer—$67.99 per month for three months, then $82.99—ending August 26, 2026. Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27, so Google had not confirmed a 2026 Black Friday promotion in the available information.

The $82.99 figure was the displayed regular price and could change. Premium channels, sports packages, and other add-ons were not automatically included in the promotion.

Is the deal still available?
Not according to the official page checked August 18, 2026. YouTube TV was then displaying a different introductory offer: $67.99 per month for the first three months, followed by $82.99 per month, with an August 26, 2026 end date. That deadline has now passed.
Check the official YouTube TV signup page for any replacement promotion. Do not assume an old deal article, landing page, or coupon link still works.
The $59.99 offer was described in coverage as a holiday promotion and was reportedly extended into March 2026. The available evidence does not show that Google had announced it as a Black Friday 2026 offer. Calling it a “Black Friday deal” without a date qualification risks presenting an expired promotion as current.
Who could qualify?
The historical offer was generally limited to eligible new YouTube TV users. Previous subscribers and people who had already taken a trial could be rejected, and using a different email address was not a guaranteed workaround. Eligibility may depend on account and promotion-specific history.

- Residence in the United States, where YouTube TV is offered as a paid service
- Acceptance of the offer shown during signup
Eligibility is determined during signup. Google’s YouTube TV support page is the appropriate route for account-specific billing or promotion questions.
How to verify a YouTube TV promotion before paying
- Go to youtube.tv directly.
- Select the displayed signup or “Try it for $0” option.
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Review the final checkout page carefully.
- Confirm the promotional price, number of discounted months, trial length, renewal date, regular price, and any selected add-ons.
- Save the confirmation email or take a screenshot of the terms.
If checkout shows $82.99 instead of an advertised promotional price, the offer may have expired, your account may be ineligible, the promotion may require a particular plan or landing page, or the discount may have been account-targeted. Do not complete payment assuming the discount will be applied later.
What happens after the two discounted months?
YouTube TV is a recurring subscription. Unless canceled, it renews at the then-current regular plan price after the promotion ends. Google’s paid-service terms state that promotional subscribers can be charged the full price when a promotion expires.

If you only want two months, set a calendar reminder before the second discounted billing period ends. Cancel before the next billing date, because partial billing periods generally are not refunded. Whether access continues through the paid period after cancellation can depend on the account’s billing terms, so verify the cancellation screen.

Taxes and optional add-ons can affect the total. An add-on may continue billing separately, so review the full subscription rather than looking only at the base-plan price.
What does the main YouTube TV plan include?
The main plan currently advertises more than 100 live channels, unlimited DVR, multiview, up to six household accounts, and three simultaneous streams, according to the official homepage. Local-channel availability varies by market, and the lineup is not identical across every YouTube TV plan.
Enter your ZIP code or location during the channel-availability check before subscribing. Confirm that the ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS, or other local stations you need are available in your market. Add-ons and premium channels cost extra.

Is YouTube TV worth it at a promotional price?
The old $59.99 rate could make sense for a short-term live-TV test, but the right comparison is the total cost for the months you will actually watch—not just the headline discount.

It may fit if you need:
- Local broadcast channels alongside national entertainment channels
- Live sports and news in one service
- Unlimited DVR
- Multiview for watching multiple events
- A temporary replacement for cable or another live-TV service
It may not fit if you:
- Need only one or two entertainment networks
- Want regional sports networks; availability can be a limitation, as noted in Tom’s Guide’s review
- Already pay for several streaming services and rarely watch live television
- Want the lowest long-term monthly price
- Live outside the United States
YouTube TV introduced lower-priced genre-oriented choices, including Sports and Sports + News plans, in 2026. If you mainly want sports or news, compare those plans and their lineups rather than assuming the main-plan promotion is the cheapest suitable option. Official YouTube TV offer
The most direct option is whatever promotion appears on YouTube TV’s official site. The offer observed August 18, 2026 was $67.99 for three months, followed by $82.99, but that displayed deadline was August 26, 2026.
Google TV promotional code
Google TV listed a code-based offer of $20 off per month for six months for eligible recipients, with redemption required by March 31, 2027. Its displayed terms excluded current, former, and trial YouTube TV subscribers. It is useful only if you receive and qualify for the code.
Best Buy television offer
Best Buy’s offer required a qualifying TV purchase and My Best Buy membership, with a displayed price of $72.99 per month for the first six months. This is not a standalone streaming discount.

Frontier Fiber bundle
Frontier’s offer tied a YouTube TV discount to eligible new Frontier Fiber service. Consider it only if you are already evaluating that internet service.
Verizon-related offers
Verizon’s promotion was primarily tied to qualifying wireless or home-internet plans and NFL Sunday Ticket, rather than serving as a like-for-like replacement for the ordinary YouTube TV subscription discount. Requirements can include maintaining the qualifying Verizon service.
Bottom line
The “$23 off 2 months” YouTube TV deal was legitimate historical pricing: $59.99 per month for two months, or $46 total savings versus $82.99. It was not $23 total, and it should not be presented as a confirmed live Black Friday 2026 promotion. Before signing up, rely on the price and renewal terms shown on the official checkout page, confirm your local channels, and set a cancellation reminder if you do not intend to pay the regular rate.
