YETI is having a significant 2026, but there is no single, formally announced “2026 refresh” or complete launch calendar. Instead, the company is combining new drinkware formats, ceramic products, hiking packs, broader outdoor gear and large color collections during its 20th-anniversary year. For shoppers, the practical question is whether to buy an available product now or wait for a category-specific release that YETI has not yet confirmed.
What YETI has actually announced
YETI’s management has described 2026 as a year of robust innovation and continued category expansion. The company’s first-quarter filing confirms several product additions, but it does not describe them as one unified refresh program.

The strongest evidence supports a broader product-and-category expansion cycle:
- New drinkware formats: a new size of the Rambler Travel Bottle and the redesigned Straw Mug 2.0 in two sizes.
- Ceramic drinkware: the Rambler Ceramic Stackable Lowball and Rambler Ceramic Wine Tumbler.
- Hiking gear: the Skala Collection, introduced in eight pack sizes.
These products matter because they expand YETI beyond its traditional cooler-and-tumbler identity. New sizes and redesigns serve existing customers, while ceramic drinkware, hiking packs and home-oriented products target new occasions such as coffee, entertaining, travel and day hiking. YETI’s 2026 filing provides the clearest first-party record of these launches.
#1 Best Overall
- The YETI Tundra 65 is just as adept at keeping your catches cold in the field as it is storing the drinks and food for your backyard barbecue, this ice chest is plenty roomy, holding a limit of redfish or your prized brisket
- Ice stays ice thanks to up to 3 inches of PermaFrost Insulation and an extra thick FatWall design is certified Bear-Resistant
- The Rotomolded Construction makes the Tundra armored to the core and virtually indestructible so wherever you decide to take it, this portable cooler’s sturdy construction will stand up to the rigors of the journey
- All Tundra coolers feature T-Rex Lid Latches constructed of heavy-duty rubber so you’ll never see another busted latch and has patented keeper technology
- The Tundra 65 dimensions are 30 1/2 in long x 17 1/2 in wide x 16 in high with an empty weight of 29 lbs NOTE: All Tundra models come standard with one dry goods basket.
The clearest new category: hiking packs
The Skala Collection is more strategically important than a new color on an existing bottle. Introducing eight hiking-pack sizes suggests a platform designed to cover multiple uses and customer profiles rather than a one-off experiment.
That expansion follows other recent carry-product activity, including the Ranchero backpack, Camino carryalls, Panga waterproof bags and Crossroads travel products. YETI is trying to build a broader system around outdoor activities: carry gear, hydration, storage and equipment from the same brand.
That does not automatically make YETI the best choice for every hiker. Shoppers who prioritize ultralight backpacking may find more specialized options from brands such as Osprey, Gregory or Patagonia. YETI’s appeal is more likely to be durability-focused construction, coordinated design and compatibility with its wider product ecosystem.
Drinkware is still the financial center of the business
YETI’s expansion is not a retreat from drinkware. In fiscal 2025, Drinkware accounted for approximately 58% of net sales, compared with about 40% for Coolers & Equipment and 2% for Other products, according to the company’s annual filing.
That concentration explains the push into new materials, sizes and use cases. Ceramic lowballs and wine tumblers can reach consumers who do not need an insulated bottle. The Straw Mug 2.0 and Travel Bottle serve everyday hydration and commuting, while existing Rambler products continue to support YETI’s core business.
Rank #2
- WINE-FRIENDLY PACKING - Fits (most) standard wine bottles and two-liter soda bottles on their side
- DOUBLEDUTY STRAP - Designed for hands-free hauling or comfortable grip while carrying
- LIPGRIP HANDLES - Stay out of the way and make carrying your catch easy
- BEARFOOT NON-SLIP FEET - Prevent sliding on the boat or in the backseat
- BUILT FOR THE WILD - Designed with legendary toughness to keep up wherever your adventure takes you
For the company, the goal is not simply to sell another tumbler. It is to increase purchase frequency, reach customers who may never buy a premium hard cooler and create complete collections around travel, coffee, home use and outdoor recreation.
Coolers and equipment are expanding, too—but not through one confirmed overhaul
YETI continues to develop its core categories, including Roadie, Tundra, Hopper, GoBox, LoadOut and related storage products. Recent platform activity includes the redesigned Roadie 24, expanded soft-cooler offerings, cargo products and outdoor-living items such as the Hondo Beach Chair.

Calling every current product update part of a new cooler generation would overstate what YETI has confirmed.
Color collections are making the catalog feel newly refreshed
YETI’s 2026 retail strategy has a second track: coordinated color and collection launches across existing products.
- Seafoam: reported across more than 100 products.
- Pace Purple: reported across more than 60 products, including drinkware, coolers, bags, accessories and dog gear.
- Ridgeline: reported across dozens of products in the United States and United Kingdom.
- Open Country and Upland Birds: a hunting-inspired collection spanning coolers, drinkware, bags, apparel and accessories.
These launches are commercially meaningful, especially for collectors and customers building coordinated gear. But a large color assortment is not the same thing as a new hardware platform. A Seafoam bottle may be new to a shopper’s collection without being technically different from the same model in another finish.

Why 2026 matters financially
YETI is positioning 2026 as its 20th-anniversary year, but the financial figures should be read as forecasts and reported quarterly results—not proof that this will be the company’s biggest year ever.
After its first-quarter results, YETI reported:
- Sales of $380.4 million, up 8% year over year.
- Coolers & Equipment sales of $156.1 million, up 11%.
- Drinkware sales of $216.9 million, up 5%.
- Updated fiscal-2026 sales-growth guidance of 7% to 8%.
- Adjusted earnings-per-share guidance of $2.83 to $2.89, representing expected growth of 14% to 17%.
- Planned 2026 capital expenditures of $60 million to $70 million, including product innovation, technology and supply-chain investment.
YETI’s first-quarter release also identifies risks including tariffs, raw-material costs, suppliers, consumer demand, product-development execution, international expansion and retail relationships. In other words, the innovation strategy is intended to support growth, but the guidance is not a guaranteed outcome.

YETI has not publicly provided a complete list of every 2026 launch or confirmed a massive second-half wave with specific dates. Readers should treat the following as unverified unless YETI announces them through a first-party channel:
- A Roadie 8 or other rumored cooler model.
- A powered cooler.
- Unannounced camera bags.
- A completely new cooler platform.
- Retailer inventory codes, social-media leaks or rumored colorways.
A product-page placeholder, “notify me” button or retailer listing may indicate interest or preparation, but it is not the same as an officially announced product that is in stock.

Should you buy now or wait?
Buy now if:
- You need a cooler, bottle, mug or bag for a specific trip or activity.
- The exact size and color you want is available.
- You are buying a confirmed current model rather than waiting for an unannounced replacement.
- You value a limited color more than future design options.
- The product is discounted or bundled and the terms are verified at checkout.
Wait if:
- You are shopping mainly for novelty rather than an immediate use case.
- You are interested in a category YETI is actively expanding, especially hiking packs, bags, drinkware or outdoor living.
- You want a specific new size, material or redesign.
- The item is listed for early access or notification rather than immediate purchase.
- You want to compare YETI with more specialized or lower-cost alternatives.
For personal-finance purposes, the key distinction is between a useful purchase and a collectible purchase. YETI’s premium pricing makes it worth comparing capacity, insulation, durability, weight, warranty and frequency of use—not just the excitement of a new launch. A limited color may be harder to replace later, while an established model may offer better value and easier availability.
Buyers should also remember that regional catalogs differ. A product reported in the United States or United Kingdom may not be available in another country, and tariffs or supply-chain costs could affect future pricing.
The bottom line
YETI’s 2026 story is real, but “biggest year yet” is promotional framing rather than a verified company designation. The company is combining confirmed product innovation—particularly ceramic drinkware and the eight-size Skala hiking-pack platform—with a broad merchandising push built around Seafoam, Pace Purple, Ridgeline and other collections.
The safest buying decision is category-specific: purchase an available product when you have a clear use for it, but wait if you are buying purely for a rumored release or expect a wholesale cooler redesign that YETI has not announced.
