Xiaomi EV announced on January 1, 2026, that it delivered “over 50,000 units” in December, calling the total a new monthly record. The company did not give an exact count in that announcement. A January 9 report citing China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) data put December deliveries at 50,212.
How many vehicles did Xiaomi deliver in December 2025?
The later, exact figure reported from CPCA data was 50,212 vehicles. CnEVPost reported that number on January 9, 2026, and attributed it to CPCA data: CnEVPost’s report on the CPCA figure.
That figure should be distinguished from Xiaomi EV’s January 1 announcement. As reported by CnEVPost, the company said December deliveries were “over 50,000 units” and called the result a record, without specifying the exact total: CnEVPost’s report on Xiaomi EV’s announcement.
How does December compare with Xiaomi’s 2025 total?
Xiaomi Corporation’s 2025 annual results, published March 24, 2026, report 411,082 vehicle deliveries for the year. December’s CPCA-attributed count of 50,212 is one month within that annual total, not an additional figure to add to it. The annual results are available from Xiaomi Investor Relations.

What role did the YU7 play?
A January 1 CnEVPost report relayed Xiaomi founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun’s statement that the YU7 had delivered over 150,000 units in its first six months. That is a cumulative first-six-month milestone, not a December-only total. The available figures do not establish how many of December’s deliveries were YU7s or how many came from other models.
What the record does—and does not—show
The reported CPCA figure establishes the exact December total cited in coverage, while Xiaomi’s initial public announcement gave only a rounded threshold. The sources do not provide a direct link to the original CPCA table, December deliveries by individual model, or evidence for attributing the record to a specific cause. The figures also do not, on their own, establish profit, market share, or global availability.
