The Aug. 31, 2026 episode of WWE Raw reportedly failed to make Netflix’s weekly Top 10 in any of the 93 tracked countries, or globally—the lowest chart result of the show’s Netflix run to that point. No exact viewing total was published. The report says the week’s 10th-place title had 1.8 million views, so Raw’s total was likely below that mark, but that is an inference from the chart cutoff, not a Netflix-reported Raw figure.
What happened to the Aug. 31 episode?
A report published Sept. 9 says the Aug. 31 episode did not appear in Netflix’s weekly Top 10 globally, in the U.S., or in any of the 93 countries it tracked. It describes the result as the lowest viewership for a Raw episode in the show’s Netflix run to that date.
The report does not give Raw’s exact total. It says the title in 10th place that week recorded 1.8 million views. If the reported chart cutoff is accurate, Raw was below that threshold; Netflix did not publish “under 1.8 million” as the episode’s own count. A Top 10 absence establishes a ranking outcome, not a precise audience size.
How does the result compare with earlier figures?
The available figures point to a sharp difference from some earlier benchmarks, but they cover different periods and measures. They should not be treated as a continuous, like-for-like decline series.

| Episode or period | Published figure | What the figure measures |
|---|---|---|
| Aug. 31, 2026 | No exact total stated; likely below 1.8 million, an inference | The secondary report says the episode missed weekly Top 10 lists; 1.8 million was the reported total for the 10th-place title that week. Sept. 9 report |
| July 13, 2026 | 2.4 million global views through seven days | Wrestlenomics, citing Netflix data, reported that episode ranked sixth among global English-language Netflix TV shows and fifth in the U.S. Wrestlenomics, July 21, 2026 |
| 2025 season | More than 3 million average views per episode across 52 shows | Netflix’s retrospective annual average; Raw made the Global English TV Top 10 in 47 of 52 weeks. This is not a seven-day total for a single episode. Netflix, Jan. 12, 2026 |
| Jan. 6, 2025 premiere | 4.9 million Live+1 global views | Netflix’s premiere figure excluded 92 countries and territories where WWE was not then distributed. It is a Live+1 figure, not directly comparable to the July seven-day figure or 2025 average. Netflix, Jan. 9, 2025 |
What does Netflix mean by “views”?
Netflix calculates a program’s “views” by dividing its total viewing hours by its runtime. That is a measure of viewing relative to duration, not a count of unique people, households, or everyone who watched together. Netflix says the measure does not count co-viewing. Accordingly, the 2025 average, July seven-day figure, and reported weekly chart threshold describe Netflix “views,” while the premiere announcement also reported a separate household measure: 2.6 million U.S. households (Live+SD), according to VideoAmp. That household figure should not be compared as if it were global views.
Netflix’s year-one account says Raw accumulated nearly 340 million views during 2025, while Netflix content from WWE totaled 525 million hours watched that year. Views and hours are different measures, and neither figure supplies the missing total for the Aug. 31, 2026 episode. Netflix’s year-one figures also report that Raw made the Global English TV Top 10 in 47 of 52 weeks in 2025.

Does the chart result prove a longer decline or explain why it happened?
No. One reported episode-level low, a July seven-day figure, and a retrospective 2025 average are not enough to establish a continuous decline curve. Weekly Top 10 rankings are relative to other Netflix programs in that week; they do not reveal Raw’s exact audience or how much its total changed from one episode to another.
The report notes that the Aug. 31 show was taped the preceding Friday and included a World Heavyweight Title No. 1 Contender’s Tournament final and a Roman Reigns appearance. Those details do not show that the taped format, card, competition, scheduling, creative direction, or a Netflix technical issue caused the chart result. The available reporting does not establish a cause.

Why can half-year totals be misleading?
Netflix engagement reports use fixed half-year reporting periods. Episodes near the end of a period have less time to accumulate viewing before the cutoff than earlier episodes, and the reports combine live and later viewing instead of giving separate live and on-demand audience totals. What’s on Netflix’s July 17, 2026 explanation outlines these limits. A half-year total therefore answers a different question from a weekly chart position or a seven-day episode figure.
