PerthNow reported that orders were fulfilled from the Geraldton store and could be placed for Wednesday and Thursday mornings at the time. Current delivery availability and windows depend on the address, so check an eligible Mullewa address in Woolworths’ ordering flow before relying on a particular day or service.
What happened in Mullewa?
On 28 August 2024, PerthNow reported that Woolworths had started offering grocery delivery in Mullewa, with orders fulfilled from its Geraldton store. The report said customers could place orders for Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Those were the terms reported at rollout, not confirmation of the current schedule.
PerthNow said a community-led petition created in May had received 132 signatures and described a trip to Geraldton for groceries as a 200 km round trip. These are figures reported by the outlet, not independently audited measurements. The petition update published by the Mullewa community on 30 May said Woolworths had asked residents to email expressions of interest to strengthen its review of a Geraldton-to-Mullewa service. Residents raised limited access to groceries and fresh produce, as well as the difficulty of travelling to Geraldton.
A Woolworths spokesperson, unnamed in PerthNow’s report, said: “We’re always listening to feedback to better understand how we can best meet the needs of our customers and are pleased to announce that customers in Mullewa will now be able to place orders for home delivery.” The spokesperson also said orders would be fulfilled from Geraldton and could be placed for Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Can Woolworths deliver groceries to Mullewa now?
The 2024 announcement does not establish whether Mullewa addresses remain eligible in 2026. Woolworths says delivery windows vary by location and directs customers to enter their address to see what is available. Check the address in Woolworths’ ordering flow or confirm directly with the retailer before planning a shop around delivery.
Woolworths’ general delivery page includes example fees and conditions, but says exact fees vary. Those general examples do not establish the price for a Mullewa address. The retailer’s Delivery Now FAQ describes that service as available in most metropolitan areas; it does not confirm Delivery Now availability in Mullewa.

How to check Mullewa delivery days and fees
- Enter the delivery address in Woolworths’ website or app and proceed to the delivery-window selector or checkout.
- Review the windows and fees displayed for that address. Treat these as the available options for the order, rather than relying on the Wednesday and Thursday mornings reported in August 2024.
- If no suitable window appears or eligibility is unclear, contact Woolworths to confirm whether the address can be served and what options apply.
Local context
PerthNow named Thurkles Mullewa and Yarrumba Deli as local businesses supplying a variety of produce and supplies. The report does not describe them as equivalent grocery-delivery services.
