How much did Wiz raise, and who invested?
Wiz said it raised $300 million in the February 2023 round. The company named Lightspeed Venture Partners as lead investor and identified Greenoaks Capital Partners and Index Ventures as existing investors in the financing. Wiz described its platform at the time as an agentless, API-centered cloud security product with a Security Graph for correlating attack paths. The company said its 2022 expansion included cloud security posture management (CSPM), cloud-native application protection (CNAPP), container and Kubernetes security, data security posture management (DSPM), external attack surface management (EASM), and cloud detection and response (CDR). Those are Wiz’s descriptions of its own products, not independent assessments of their effectiveness.

What is Wiz worth now?
The public milestones establish a $12 billion private-round valuation in May 2024 and a $32 billion announced acquisition price in March 2025, subject to closing adjustments. Google Cloud announced that the acquisition was completed on March 11, 2026. Because Wiz is now part of Google Cloud, those announcements do not establish a current standalone market valuation for Wiz.

What changed after Google completed the acquisition?
Google Cloud said Wiz joined Google Cloud while retaining the Wiz brand. Google describes Wiz as supporting major cloud providers including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud, and as connecting code, cloud and runtime. Its completion announcement also describes capabilities for mapping application architecture, permissions, data flows and runtime behavior, as well as newer AI security capabilities.
