Wix’s published US prices for early October 2026, on annual billing, are $17 per month for Light, $29 for Core, $39 for Business and $159 for Business Elite. Billed monthly, the same plans cost $24, $36, $46 and $172 per month. Wix revises plans and regional pricing, so confirm the current figures at wix.com/plans before you pay.
For most people the decision starts with one question: do you need to take payments? Light cannot accept online payments, so it only fits a site that presents information, a portfolio or a contact page. Core is the lowest-priced plan that accepts payments and includes basic ecommerce. Business and Business Elite add stronger ecommerce tools, more storage and more collaborators.
Wix plan prices in the US
The table shows the monthly price on each billing option, plus what a full year costs before domain, app or payment-processing charges. All figures are US prices; Wix states that prices vary by location.

Annual versus monthly billing
Annual billing saves $84 a year on Light, Core and Business, and $156 a year on Business Elite. Measured against the annual price, monthly billing adds roughly 41% on Light, 24% on Core, 18% on Business and 8% on Business Elite. Those percentages are calculated from Wix’s own figures.

Monthly billing only makes sense if you expect to change plans soon or want to test a site before committing for a year. If you already know you will keep a site live for twelve months, annual billing is the cheaper option on every tier.

Choosing a plan
Light: informational sites without payments
Light suits a portfolio, a business brochure or a site that sends visitors to you by phone or email. It has the smallest storage allowance at 2 GB and supports two collaborators. If you later want to sell anything, you will need to move up, because Light has no online payments.

Core: the first plan that can sell
Core is the entry point for accepting payments. It adds payment acceptance, basic ecommerce, and scheduling and services, which suits a site that sells a small range of products or takes bookings. At $29 per month on annual billing, it is the plan most small sellers will compare against Business.
Business: a larger store with more storage
Business moves to standard ecommerce, 100 GB of storage and ten collaborators. The jump from Core is $10 per month on annual billing, which makes it a reasonable upgrade when your catalogue, media library or team outgrows Core’s limits.

Business Elite: advanced ecommerce and unlimited storage
Business Elite is the top self-serve plan, with advanced ecommerce, unlimited storage and 100 collaborators. It costs $120 per month more than Business on annual billing, or $1,440 a year. That premium is only justified if you need advanced ecommerce features or a large team; a standard store on Business will not benefit from it. Wix also lists a Velo developer platform on this tier, per a third-party report, so check whether you need custom development before paying for it.
Is Wix really free?
Wix has a free plan with about 500 MB of storage and 1 GB of bandwidth. It displays Wix ads and uses a wixsite.com address, and it offers no online payments. It is useful for testing a layout or learning the editor, but it is not a way to run a business site. Any plan with payments or a custom domain costs money.

Free domain and domain renewal
Wix offers a one-year free domain voucher on most yearly and multi-year Premium plans. The voucher has four conditions:
- It applies to first-time purchases only.
- It must be redeemed within 60 days.
- It only covers a new Wix domain.
- Monthly plans are not eligible.
After the first year, a .com domain renews at $21.35 per year, according to Wix’s 2026 pricing. A Core site on annual billing with that renewal would cost $369.35 in year two, before app and processing costs.

- Domain renewal: $21.35 per year for a .com after the voucher year, per Wix’s 2026 pricing.
- App Market apps: some apps charge their own monthly fees on top of your plan. Add these to your budget before installing them.
- Payment-processing fees: card and payment fees are set by the payment provider and vary by country. Wix does not publish a single rate in the figures reviewed here, so check the rate for your country in your provider’s terms.
Watch for inaccurate third-party prices
Some pricing aggregators list $17.77, $29.77, $39.77 and $159.77 per month. These do not match Wix’s published figures. One listing shows Business at $36, which matches Core’s monthly-billing price and appears to be an error. Use the prices on Wix’s own pricing page.
Refunds and checking before you buy
Wix offers a 14-day full refund on the initial upgrade. Before you pay:
- Open wix.com/plans and confirm the prices shown match your country.
- Compare the annual and monthly prices for the plan you have in mind.
- At checkout, check whether a free domain is offered, and whether it is a new Wix domain that you must redeem within 60 days.
- List every app you plan to install and check its monthly fee.
- Note the date of your upgrade so you can request a refund within the 14-day window if the plan does not suit you.
Other Wix products
Wix Studio is a separate product for agencies and freelancers, with Basic, Standard, Plus and Elite plans. It offers a one-year free domain voucher on yearly plans. Third-party sources place Studio at about $19 to $159 per month; Wix’s own Studio prices were not reviewed for this guide. Enterprise pricing is custom and is not published as a fixed figure. Wix Harmony is a newer product with its own pricing, and this article does not cover it.
