The Championships themselves took place from June 27 through July 10, 2022, according to the official 2022 Compendium. A ballot held for a later tournament is not a way to obtain a ticket for this past event.
How could people get Wimbledon tickets in 2022?
The historical record supports two public-facing routes: on-the-day access through the returning Queue and the Ticket Resale scheme. It does not establish a detailed day-by-day allocation, guarantee of entry, or specific court access for either route.

The Queue
The Queue was again part of the 2022 on-day ticketing options. That confirms it was a route to try, not that a Queue place guaranteed admission or a particular court. Wimbledon’s current Queue page contains modern allocations and rules; it should not be used to reconstruct the 2022 system.
Ticket Resale
Ticket Resale also returned. The Wimbledon Foundation Annual Review 2022 reports that the scheme generated £404,000 for the Foundation in 2022. That figure is the amount raised by the scheme, not a ticket price or a measure of how likely an individual buyer was to get a ticket.

How much were Wimbledon tickets in 2022?
A verified official 2022 face-value price schedule by day and court is not established here. Prices varied by day and court, but a retrospective secondary account is not enough to support a precise official price table. What current ticket rules say—and what they do not prove about 2022
Wimbledon’s currently published Ticket Terms and Conditions prohibit unauthorized resale, attempted resale, advertising tickets for sale, and most transfers. They identify debenture tickets as the ticket category that may be resold, subject to the terms. These are current terms, not proof of the exact contract wording that applied in 2022.
The current terms also state: “The AELTC reserves the right to keep any number of On-the-Day Tickets available for purchase on the relevant Championships Day, including via the Queue.” This is current wording, not a quotation from the 2022 ticket rules.

For a future Championships, check the official ticket information and terms for that year before making plans. Current ballot arrangements, Queue details and resale rules can change; they do not make a 2022 ticket available.
