A Polymarket code or bonus may not work because it applies to a different Polymarket product, its eligibility conditions were not met, the code was not used in the required signup flow, or a deadline passed. First identify whether the offer is for Polymarket International or Polymarket US: their documented referral programs differ, and a referral reward is not necessarily a signup bonus.
Start by identifying which Polymarket product the offer covers
Polymarket International and Polymarket US have separate referral arrangements. A code or link for one should not be assumed to work on the other. The terms attached to the exact offer—not a general claim that a code is “for Polymarket”—determine eligibility.

These are the specific arrangements described in the linked official materials, not universal rules for every promotion or third-party code. Polymarket says International referral terms may change; check the current offer terms before relying on them.

Check what kind of reward you were promised
“Bonus” can refer to different things: a credit for a newly referred user, earnings for the person who referred them, a fee rebate, or another promotion. The International Help Center describes referral rewards calculated from net fees and paid to the referrer in pUSD; it does not establish a guaranteed signup bonus for every new user. The US exhibit, by contrast, describes a one-time account credit for an eligible referred user under that particular program.

If an offer came from a third-party promo-code site, its listing alone does not confirm that Polymarket issued the code or that it remains valid. Compare it with terms on Polymarket’s official site. The official token FAQ says Polymarket has not announced an airdrop or token generation event and cautions users about airdrop and giveaway claims: Does Polymarket Have a Token? Treat unsolicited bonus links and requests for credentials or deposits as unverified.
Work through these checks before contacting support
- Match the offer to the product. Confirm whether you used Polymarket International or Polymarket US and that the offer explicitly covers that product.
- Read the exact terms. Check how the code or link must be used, whether the offer is limited to first-time users, what onboarding or deposit steps apply, and the deadline. Do not apply the US program’s conditions to a different offer.
- Check your role and expected reward. Determine whether the terms promise something to the referrer, the referred user, or both, and what form the reward takes.
- Verify location eligibility. Review Polymarket’s current geographic restrictions at Geographic Restrictions. A referral code does not override a location restriction. Polymarket prohibits using a VPN or similar tool to bypass one.
- Contact official support if you appear to qualify. Give support the offer or code, product, signup date, relevant deposit or transaction reference if applicable, and the exact error or missing-credit description. The reviewed official materials do not establish one appeals process for all offers or guarantee that a credit will be granted.
If the problem is a technical error, troubleshoot it separately
A network or claim error is not proof that a promotion qualified—or failed. For a technical issue, Polymarket’s guides recommend checking your device time and internet connection, refreshing or signing in again, and disabling VPNs or proxies where applicable. Do not use a VPN to evade a geographic restriction. If the error persists, contact support with the message and what you were doing when it appeared.
