Australian fans had a new way to dress for Olivia Rodrigo’s 2024 GUTS World Tour: Cotton On launched a licensed collection of clothing and accessories, and a fan’s TikTok haul drew a reported 190,000 views. That online response showed enthusiasm around the collection, but it is not evidence of national sales figures or a measured Australia-wide trend.
What was in Cotton On’s Olivia Rodrigo collection?
In a 13 September 2024 report, PerthNow described a licensed collection inspired by Rodrigo that included T-shirts, hoodies, keychains, necklaces, charm bracelets and a headscarf. The report said the range covered sizes 2XS to 2XL, with launch prices starting at A$14.99 for a keychain and A$29.99 for a T-shirt. What did “go wild” mean?
PerthNow reported that superfan Diana Beech’s TikTok haul had attracted 190,000 views and hundreds of comments. The story quoted reactions such as “ITS ALL SO CUTEEEE!!! brb running to cotton on” and “Petition for Cotton On to be in charge of all fan girlie merch in Aus,” attributing them to social media users. The comments and view count convey excitement around one video; they do not establish how many items sold, whether the collection sold out, or how representative the response was of Australian shoppers. Are Olivia Rodrigo Cotton On items still available?
Cotton On Australia currently lists an Olivia Rodrigo Music Boxy Graphic Tee as official licensed merchandise. The listing describes a gender-neutral boxy fit and cotton jersey, with 30% regenerated cotton from pre-consumer waste noted in its product features. It displayed a price of A$39.99 when checked for this article; price and stock can change. The current listing does not show that all pieces from the 2024 collection are still sold. How the collection fitted the 2024 tour moment
The launch came ahead of Rodrigo’s Australian GUTS World Tour dates. The PerthNow story named four Melbourne shows beginning 9 October 2024 and four Sydney shows beginning 17 October 2024. Those dates have passed; the official Olivia Rodrigo tour page retrieved for this article lists no upcoming events.
