Among the highest recent estimates for people who have coached The Voice are Shakira at $300 million, and Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande at $250 million each, according to Parade’s January 2026 estimates. Those are third-party estimates—not audited disclosures—and the available figures do not establish a definitive ranking of every coach who has appeared on the show.
Who has the highest published estimates?
Parade’s January 1, 2026 comparison names Shakira as the wealthiest of these three, with Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande tied behind her. The estimates describe their overall net worth, not money earned specifically from coaching The Voice.
| Coach | Published net-worth estimate | Publisher and date |
|---|---|---|
| Shakira | $300 million | Parade, January 1, 2026 |
| Pharrell Williams | $250 million | Parade, January 1, 2026 |
| Ariana Grande | $250 million | Parade, January 1, 2026 |
| Blake Shelton | $130 million | Parade, as of January 2026 |
| Gwen Stefani | $160 million | Biography.com, as of July 2024 |
The figures come from different publishers and dates, so the table is a comparison of published estimates, not a standardized financial measurement. Parade’s estimates ultimately draw on other reporting, while Biography.com provides a separate estimate for Stefani. Neither source establishes an independently verified, comprehensive ranking of all past coaches. Parade’s comparison, Parade’s Blake Shelton estimate, and Biography.com’s Gwen Stefani estimate provide the underlying context.
Why the ranking is not definitive
Net worth is an estimate of assets minus liabilities; it is not a public, audited account of a celebrity’s finances. Publishers may use different information, assumptions, and publication dates. The available estimates therefore support saying that Shakira has the highest figure among the names listed here—not that she is conclusively the richest person ever to coach the show.

The comparison is also incomplete: The Voice has featured many coaches over multiple seasons, and the cited estimates do not cover everyone on a consistent basis. Peacock’s official series page uses the term “coaches” and lists original and past panelists, as well as the coaches for Season 30. Peacock’s coach and season listing is the appropriate reference for the show’s roster and terminology.
Net worth is not the same as a Voice salary
Reported pay for one season is a different measure from total wealth. Celebrity Net Worth has reported that Christina Aguilera earned $17 million for season three of The Voice; that is a reported season salary, not her net worth or a comparable estimate of what every coach was paid. Celebrity Net Worth’s salary report should be read as a pay claim for that season only.

A salary can contribute to a person’s income, but by itself it does not establish assets, debts, other earnings, or total net worth. For that reason, a coach’s reported fee should not be added to a net-worth estimate or used to rank coaches by wealth.

“Judges” is common shorthand in searches and conversation, but NBC’s official The Voice page calls the panelists “coaches.” The distinction matters because the show’s format centers on coaches building teams and guiding contestants, rather than simply scoring performances. The phrasing “Who is the richest coach on The Voice?” reflects the same reader question using the show’s terminology.
