The page links to a draft Scheme Information Document (SID), but the filing does not establish that the fund’s NFO is open or confirm its investment terms or launch dates.
What the SEBI filing confirms
The filing identifies the scheme as WhiteOak Capital Contra Fund and records it on October 5, 2026. SEBI labels the document a draft, so it should not be treated as a final offer document or proof that subscriptions are available.
The filing page links to a draft Scheme Information Document. The document’s contents could not be verified here. The filing therefore does not support stating the scheme’s objective, benchmark, allocation limits, riskometer, minimum investment, exit load, fees, or NFO dates.
What investors should check before relying on fund details
Use the latest documents published for this specific scheme, rather than inferring terms from the word “Contra” or from another WhiteOak fund. Before making an investment decision, check the final SID, Key Information Memorandum (KIM), any addenda, and the AMC’s NFO announcement for:
#1 Best Overall
- Investment objective, strategy, and permitted allocation ranges.
- Benchmark and riskometer.
- Expense details, minimum investment, and exit load.
- NFO opening and closing dates, followed by the date continuous offers begin.
Terms and dates may change between the draft and final documents. The available filing does not answer the common question “What is the WhiteOak Contra Fund NFO date?” beyond recording the draft filing date.
Which WhiteOak entities are identified
AMFI’s member record identifies WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund and WhiteOak Capital Asset Management Limited as its asset management company. AMFI says the record was updated on July 30, 2026. This establishes the fund-house and AMC identities, not the Contra Fund’s specific terms.
Rank #2
WhiteOak Capital’s May 2026 Aggressive Hybrid Fund SID concerns a different scheme and should not be used to fill gaps in the Contra Fund documents.

How to verify the offer document and NFO status
- Open SEBI’s Contra Fund filing page and confirm that the entry is still marked “Draft.”
- Open the linked draft SID. If it is inaccessible or its terms are unclear, do not rely on summaries that cannot be checked against the document.
- Look for the final SID, KIM, and addenda, then compare their dates and terms with the draft.
- Check WhiteOak Capital Asset Management’s official NFO announcement for current subscription dates and status. A draft filing by itself does not mean an NFO is open.
