Hawaiian Airlines has announced onboard pilot trading cards and children’s wings; Discover Airlines has documented gifts for young passengers; and official stores sell airline-branded aircraft models. The key distinction is whether an item is an onboard giveaway, a digital collectible, or something you buy.
Which airlines offer collectible gifts onboard?
Hawaiian Airlines: pilot cards, digital cards and children’s wings
Hawaiian Airlines announced four pilot trading-card designs that travelers can request from a crewmember. Its program also includes digital cards representing the airline’s 66 aircraft, collected during a flight through its digital program. For children, the airline describes clippable “Keiki” Wings; those are limited and distributed first come, first served. These are announced offerings, not a promise that a particular flight will have cards or wings in stock. Read Hawaiian Airlines’ announcement.
Discover Airlines: gifts for children
In an August 2024 announcement, Discover Airlines listed onboard gifts children could choose from: a flight logbook, Mau Mau card game, Toukan cuddly blanket, plush plane and beach ball. That release documents the program at the time; it does not establish what is currently stocked on a given flight. See Discover Airlines’ announcement.
Where can you buy airline collectibles?
Official airline stores
Emirates’ official U.S. store promotes branded gifts and aircraft models, including Boeing 777 and A380 models. These are retail purchases, not complimentary cabin gifts, and product availability and prices can change. Browse the Emirates Official Store.

Aircraft models in airline liveries

How to tell what kind of collectible you’re getting
| Type | Examples | How you get it | Availability to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|---|
| Onboard giveaway | Hawaiian pilot cards and Keiki Wings | Ask a crewmember | Wings are limited and first come, first served; stock on a specific flight is not guaranteed. |
| Digital collectible | Hawaiian aircraft cards | Collect through the airline’s digital program during a flight | The announcement describes cards representing 66 aircraft; it does not establish how popular or widely collected they are. |
| Children’s onboard gift | Discover Airlines’ listed toys and activities | Choose from gifts described in the 2024 announcement | The announcement is not a current inventory guarantee. |
| Retail souvenir | Airline-branded aircraft models, pins and tags | Buy from an official store or specialist retailer | Listings, prices and stock can change. |
How to ask about an inflight collectible
- Ask a crewmember politely whether the airline offers a card, wings or another collectible on that flight.
- If the item is intended for children, follow the airline’s eligibility or distribution rules.
- Accept that a gift may be unavailable because supplies or onboard policies vary; do not assume an item mentioned in an announcement is carried on every route.
- For a specific collectible, check the airline or retailer’s current information close to your trip or purchase.
What is—and isn’t—confirmed
These examples are a selection, not a complete list of airlines worldwide. Public discussion sometimes mentions Lufthansa ducks, KLM houses, Delta trading cards or Virgin Atlantic salt-and-pepper shakers, but those anecdotes do not establish current availability. Confirm a specific item with the airline before planning around it.
