Clubs Poker’s own Terms of Use, Version 5.6 (updated June 30, 2026), exclude 14 U.S. states and any location outside the United States. That list tells you where the operator restricts access. It does not tell you whether the game is legal where you live, and that second question is the one that matters for your money and your legal exposure.
The states Clubs Poker currently restricts
The operator’s Terms of Use name these restricted U.S. jurisdictions as of the June 30, 2026 version:
- California
- Connecticut
- Idaho
- Indiana
- Louisiana
- Maine
- Michigan
- Montana
- Nevada
- New Jersey
- New York
- Tennessee
- Washington
- West Virginia
The same terms also exclude any location outside the United States and any place “where otherwise prohibited.” The operator, KHK Games, Inc., reserves the right to change this list or to make individual games unavailable. Because the list can change, treat the live Terms of Use as the authority for the operator’s current position, not this article or any copy of it.
What the restriction list does and does not establish
A state appearing on the list means the operator has chosen not to offer the service there. It is an access policy. It is not a legal ruling, and it does not describe the law of any state.

The reverse is also true. A state missing from the list is not thereby confirmed as a place where Clubs Poker is legal. The Terms of Use say that you are responsible for your own compliance. In Section 3.3, the operator states that it “[is] unable to provide You with any legal advice or assurances and that it is Your sole responsibility to ensure that at all times You comply with the laws that govern You and that You have the complete legal right to use the Service.”
A third-party availability tracker, SweepState, makes the same distinction. Its assessment separates availability from state-law status, and it cautions that not being listed as excluded is not affirmative evidence that a product is available. Third-party state maps also disagree with one another in places, and none of them overrides the operator’s own terms.

How to check your own state before you play
- Read the current Terms of Use. Open the Clubs Poker Terms of Use and confirm the version date and the restricted list. Note that the terms say availability can differ by game or service, so a state that is not excluded may still lack a particular game.
- Find the statute or regulator position for your state. Search your state’s gaming or consumer-protection regulator and the state code for the relevant provisions on prize promotions, social gaming, and skill or chance games. Record the date you checked.
- Sort what you find into categories. Keep enacted law, a regulator’s published enforcement position, pending legislation, and the operator’s own policy in separate notes. They carry different weight, and only the first two describe legal status.
- Confirm your eligibility. The sweepstakes rules limit entry to U.S. residents age 18 or older. The operator also notes that a higher age of majority may apply where you live.
- Do not use location controls to get around a restriction. If your state is on the list, the operator’s terms do not allow access from it, and a state-law question you cannot resolve is a reason to stop, not to test the boundary.
How the free-entry sweepstakes model works
Clubs Poker presents itself as an entertainment service that does not offer “real money gambling,” and it operates a sweepstakes structure in which prizes are redeemable and play is not required to win. Its Sweepstakes Official Rules, last updated June 30, 2026, state: “NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.” The rules also say that buying something will not increase your chance of winning.
The rules list several ways to collect Sweeps Coins without buying anything:

One detail needs careful reading. The rules say Sweeps Coins cannot be purchased under any circumstances. Separately, they describe promotional coins that come as a bonus with certain Gold Coin purchases. These are different instruments, and the rules treat them differently. Do not assume that a purchase is never connected to a prize-eligible balance, and do not assume that one is.
Odds in individual games are not fixed. The rules state that odds can vary and may change, so no figure should be read as a stable probability of winning.

Redemption: what happens when you try to cash out
Redemption is conditional. Sweeps Coins must satisfy the rules and pass verification before a prize can be redeemed, and the process has limits you should plan around:
- Processing time: up to 30 days, according to the Sweepstakes Official Rules.
- Request frequency: only one redemption request per account is normally processed in a five-day period.
- Cap: redemptions are limited to $5,000 per sweepstakes period in Florida and New York.
From a personal-finance standpoint, treat any Sweeps Coins balance as unconfirmed value until a redemption has been approved and paid. Verification can delay or reject a request, and the balance is not a savings account, a cash equivalent, or a planned income source. If you use the service, set a fixed budget you would be content to lose, and do not fund play from money earmarked for bills or debt payments.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:

Age and account rules
The official site says people under 18 may not create an account or take part. The sweepstakes rules set 18 as the minimum age, while the terms also acknowledge that a higher age of majority can apply where you live. If you are close to a threshold, use the higher age in your state.
Where the legal answer actually comes from
For a question about your own state, the operator’s terms are the starting point for what Clubs Poker will allow, and the state’s statute and regulator are the sources for what the law says. Neither is a substitute for a legal opinion. If you need certainty about a specific activity, such as a prize-promotion structure, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
Readers who need to verify a particular claim should check the primary documents first: the Clubs Poker Terms of Use (Version 5.6, June 30, 2026) and the Sweepstakes Official Rules (last updated June 30, 2026), both published by the operator, and the relevant state code and regulator notices.
Use the operator list as one input, verify your state’s law separately, and never treat a missing restriction as proof that the service is legal in your location.
