What to keep in mind about the sale dates
- These are historical dates from retailers’ 2024 announcements; those promotions have expired. Check current-year retailer announcements for current shopping dates.
- An announced sale window does not guarantee that a particular item was in stock, that its final price would remain unchanged, or that it offered the lowest price of the season.
- In a November 27, 2024 report, the Associated Press described weeks of early offers and recommended comparing prices, checking price histories, and reading offer terms. Its description of Black Friday through Cyber Monday as a four-day shopping period is context, not a promise that the best price falls on a particular day. Read the AP report.
