Amazon’s 2026 U.S. Prime Big Deal Days ran October 6–7, 2026. As of October 8, 2026, the event has ended, so no 2026 U.S. deals from this event should be treated as still active. Amazon says dates can differ by country, so readers outside the U.S. need their local Amazon announcement.
The 2026 U.S. dates
Amazon announced the return of Prime Big Deal Days in a U.S. Press Center release dated September 14, 2026. The company’s wording was: “Amazon today announced Prime Big Deal Days returns October 6-7 with millions of deals exclusively for Prime members to kick off the fall and holiday seasons.” The event was a two-day promotion, and the offers were limited to Prime members.
Why this is not the summer Prime Day
People often call Amazon’s fall sale “Prime Day,” but Amazon names the fall event Prime Big Deal Days, and it is separate from the summer Prime Day event. If you are searching for the summer sale, check Amazon’s announcements for that event’s own dates rather than using the October 2026 dates here.
Dates outside the United States
Amazon states that event dates may vary by country. The October 6–7 dates apply to the U.S. event only. The sources available for this article do not establish the dates for every Amazon marketplace, so a reader in another country should look for that country’s Amazon announcement or check the Prime Big Deal Days page on their local Amazon site.

How to find the next event date
- Go to Amazon’s U.S. Press Center and search for “Prime Big Deal Days” to find the most recent announcement.
- On Amazon’s website, open the Prime Big Deal Days event page and check the date banner at the top of the page.
- If you live outside the U.S., switch to your local Amazon site and look for the event announcement there, since the dates may differ.
- Do not use the 2026 dates to predict the 2027 schedule. Amazon’s 2026 materials do not set a date for any later year.
What to do now
- If you missed the October 6–7 window, the event is over. Do not assume a listed sale price is still in effect on a given day.
- Compare prices with a price-tracking tool or the item’s price history before you buy during any future sale, because a “deal” label alone does not show that a price is lower than usual.
- Keep an eye on your Prime membership status before the next event, since the deals were restricted to Prime members.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
