What was included in the 2025 sale?
Amazon described Prime Day as exclusive to Prime members and said deals spanned more than 35 categories. Its announcement listed fashion, beauty, groceries, household essentials, electronics, back-to-school supplies, books, toys, and pet essentials. The final-day roundup also highlighted tablets and headphones, as well as vacuums and blenders. These are examples of what Amazon promoted for that event, not current recommendations.

How Amazon organized deals
Amazon introduced “Today’s Big Deals,” themed daily drops that it said began at midnight PDT and were available for a limited time while supplies lasted. The announcement also described deal-discovery features including Alexa+ tracking, Lists, Buy Again, and shopping guides. Those details reflect Amazon’s 2025 announcement; current feature names and availability may differ.
Fire HD 10 was a historical example
Amazon’s roundup featured the Fire HD 10 tablet as one of its deal examples. That mention does not establish a current listing, price, or discount. The original roundup cautioned that deals and availability could change during the event.

What did the spending forecast say?
Adobe Digital Insights forecast $23.8 billion in overall online spending from July 8 through July 11, 2025. The Associated Press reported that forecast as 28.4% above the comparable period a year earlier. This was a forecast for online spending across the period—not an audited or verified final sales total for Prime Day. The Associated Press report explains the estimate.

Because the 2025 event has ended, its deals should not be treated as live offers. When evaluating a future promotion, check the exact model and configuration, compare the current price with price history, confirm membership or other eligibility requirements, and note the offer’s stated end time and availability. A past promotional example alone cannot show whether a current price is a good value.
