Oprah Daily’s 2024 Favorite Things is a holiday gift guide with 116 gifts for a range of recipients and interests—not a ranked list or a comparison test. It includes everything from food, beauty and apparel to home and technology. The guide was published November 1, 2024, and its listing shows an update date of January 3, 2025; treat its prices and shopping links as historical and check current listings before buying.
What is Oprah’s Favorite Things 2024?
It is Oprah Daily’s annual holiday gift guide, organized around possible recipients and interests rather than one product category. The publisher’s archive describes the 2024 digital issue as featuring 116 gifts for everyone on your list. Oprah Daily’s 2024 list includes shopping placements and product descriptions; those are the publisher’s selections and characterizations, not independent product testing in this article.
The guide’s range makes it more useful as a source of gift ideas than as a way to determine which product is objectively best. It does not establish a single scoring system or a head-to-head test across all 116 items.
What kinds of gifts are on the list?
Examples on the official list include practical household items, food and personal accessories, alongside higher-priced specialty purchases. These are representative entries, not a complete inventory.

|---|---|---|
| Travel | Cincha Canvas Go-Tote | A practical option for someone who would use a tote for travel or everyday carrying. |

How should you evaluate an item before buying?
Use the guide to discover possibilities, then make the purchase decision around the recipient and your budget. The official page does not provide a standardized basis for ranking such different products against one another.
- Start with the recipient: Identify what the person actually enjoys or needs, rather than choosing solely because an item appears in a celebrity gift guide.
- Separate practical gifts from splurges: A tote or kitchen tool serves a different purpose from an expensive espresso machine. Decide how much you are comfortable spending before following a shopping link.
- Check the current total: The guide is from 2024, so do not assume an old listed price, discount, stock status or retailer destination remains current. Check shipping, taxes and return terms as well.
- Verify product details: Confirm the exact model, size, included accessories and compatibility on the retailer’s live product page.
What does Oprah say about the De’Longhi machine?
Oprah Daily’s page presents the De’Longhi Eletta Explore with Cold Brew as a splurge. Oprah’s accompanying comment reads: “I know, this one’s a splurge, but it grinds coffee beans and makes lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, cold brews, and more than 50 other recipes.” That is her description in the gift guide, not an independent verification of the machine’s features or performance.
How does the guide describe its food selections?
In its food feature, Oprah Daily says its editors search for food gifts and sample them before Oprah considers selections. That describes the publisher’s own editorial process; it does not mean every item in the broader guide was tested or tasted by the writer of this article.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are the 2024 list’s prices and shopping links current?
Not necessarily. The official listing is dated November 1, 2024, with an update date of January 3, 2025. Retail prices, discounts, availability and retailer links can change, so confirm them on the live product page before ordering. The guide includes Amazon shopping placements, but that does not establish that a particular listing is still available or that any merchant or affiliate terms remain unchanged.
