Panera has announced more than one “all-new menu.” Its April 2024 New Era launch introduced nine items and enhanced 12 classics; a separate summer 2026 refresh added Market Bowls, premium salads and cold coffee drinks. Those launch announcements do not establish what every cafe serves today, so check your local menu before ordering.
What Panera introduced in its 2024 New Era menu
On April 16, 2024, Panera announced a menu launch built around soups, salads, sandwiches and mac and cheese. The company said it included nine new items and 12 enhanced classics. The nine new items were:
- Toasted Italiano
- Chicken Bacon Rancher
- Ciabatta Cheesesteak
- Tomato Basil BLT
- Mediterranean Chicken Greens with Grains
- Southwest Chicken Ranch
- Balsamic Chicken Greens with Grains
- Ranch Cobb Salad
- Bacon Mac & Cheese
Panera said nearly 400,000 MyPanera members voted ahead of the launch, with the Toasted Italiano selected as the most anticipated new item. The company also reported interviewing more than 30,000 guests during the development process; these are company-reported figures, not independently verified survey results. What arrived in Panera’s summer 2026 refresh
Panera said its summer menu launched nationwide on June 17, 2026. It introduced Market Bowls, three premium salads, and new Cafe Blend Iced Coffees and Frozen Javas. The company’s launch release said participating cafes and prices may vary, so its menu figures are not a guarantee of current local availability or pricing.

Market Bowls
The new Market Bowls category started at $9.99, according to Panera’s June 2026 release. Each bowl was offered in whole and half portions. Panera published these protein amounts for whole bowls:

Which menu announcement is current?
The 2024 New Era launch and the summer 2026 refresh are separate announcements, not one menu that can be assumed unchanged. Panera’s press-room index lists a later fall menu release dated September 1, 2026, but the announcements alone do not verify which named items or prices are available at a particular cafe on October 8, 2026.
